charges in court today including murder, attempted rape. he's accused of posing as utility worker to get inside the apartment. cash the 46 year-old kathryn horn her body was discovered the next day october 30th. she had he had been released from prison earlier in the year after serving time for attempted murder. he is due back in court december 8th. the man charged with severely beating a priest said molested him three decades ago appeared in a san jose courtroom today this is video from an earlier hearing. we'll lynch as san francisco did not enter a plea today. he's accused of attacking backing of inmates at a retirement home. he alleges that hit the priest of molested him and his little brother in 1975 on camping trips. letter denies that he is not been criminally charged. flinches schedule back in court december 7th. pg&e is asking for all lawsuits on the gas line explosion in san bruno to be handled by

live this is kron 4 news at 6:00. at 6:00 on rallied to remember a man shot and killed by oakland police this is video taken from a little earlier this evening. is the second protests this week dozens of people out there was sign saying things like a badge is not a license to kill. kron 4 is uncover new details about what derek jones had in his pocket at the time of the shooting. at first and current is is a look at today's demonstration >> a badge is not a license to kill it it's not a license for cover-up either. we demand names be released immediately and we demand more than that. these police officers need to be jailed for what they did to derek jones. >> demonstrators gathered from derek jones east

wednesday's power outage at the refinery. pg&e set an equipment failure at a concord substation cause the problem did on a wide be acquitted failed. if today there were more problems at the refinery as kron 4 kate thompson reports nearly 100 gal. of acid leaked from a pipe leak this morning. >84 gallons of sulfuric acid leaked out from a pipe at the factory. county officials say there is no risk to the public with this spill when by law the refinery has to report leaks over a certain size. still under investigation is the power outage at the refinery on wednesday which saw huge clouds of black smoke and flames shooting into the sky. you can see in the video here. sirens sounded to warn people to stay inside their homes for several hours and then the warning was lifted. there's been no injuries or health issues that have been reported after that power outage curious the

san francisco d a just announced charges against the man who stopped traffic on the bay bridge and threatened suicide yesterday. this is video of him being chased and taken into custody. he is now facing several felony charges including kidnapping and false imprisonment, making a false bomb threat among others. as a mess on the bridge which was closed for time. the kidnapping of false imprisonment charges stem from the fact that the man had his teenage daughter in the car with him and he is expected to be arraigned on monday. the military ban on openly gay and lesbian service members is also coming up for vote in congress. the defense department said today it is launching a probe of a leaked report that concluded
