morning fog settled in to the north bay. by the afternoon: dry partly cloudy in the evening it brings fog back into the bay. currently visibility down to a quarter mile from the bottle just a mile in nevada and actually seeing visibilities decrease in san rosa right now down to half a mile. visibility chart shows us where the problem spot is petaluma down 1 01 right in to san rafael this morning. adults where we're not bad just some cloud cover persisting throughout the day temperatures in the 40 this morning 40 through oakland down in to mountain view temperatures upper 40's, you're afternoon highs into the 50s. 57 for san rosa, 56 novato, 57 richmond, in the south bay with a warming up to 58 in through los gatos, san jose, mullen view as well, oakland as well. future cast

police shooting of a non armed man in november to officers fatally shot a 37 year-old derrick at his barbershop on november 8th police chief anthony says he understands some people's distrust in an internal investigation and is asking federal officials to do and and by a station as well. they shot him after he pulled a metal object from his pants the object turned out to be a small metal scale. not a gun. the officers will not be returning to duty unless they are cleared of wrongdoing. homicide has until tuesday to submit their findings. >> culture and getting ready to move in new sections for the signature single anchor suspension they're concerned it will distract drivers around the s curve. we turn to yoli live on the island with more.
