the south bay more on how cold temperatures are expected to continue. and how much fog in the day. >> at less traffic at the bay bridge than yesterday or even the day before. no back up even for cash line customers on the left-hand side of the toll plaza. that could change, but meter lights are still lost. >> developing story out of san rafael three alarm fire overnight that spread from one home to another. to bring in more news foster we turn to jackie says alive in san rafael. >> san rafael fire crews are in mop up stage of here. on may would way, this fire started at 3:00 a.m.. when firefighters got here they quickly changed it to a three alarm fire, because the second house was involved in the fire. where the fire started

that was a vacant home that was under construction. obviously that will be part of the investigation whether not that construction was part of the ignition source. the quiet fire quickly spread to the house next door. to people were inside that house they were able to get out without injury. firefighters say it took 30 minutes to get the fire under control. this fire burned for an hour and a half- two hours. this was short shot after 4:00 a.m. they continue to put water on the fire. they will remain out here for good portion of the day. obviously this is going to be a investigation underway to determine what started it. the good news no injuries to firefighters or occupants of the house. >> thank you for the update.

>> investigators are looking at a shooting that left six people injured. they were searching for evidence on the street after the shooting. today more news faster let's turn to will tran who has been oakland following the investigation. >> the shooter the shot from quite a distance. the investigators spent the night investigating the area behind the green van. they believe two suspects were on foot, walking towards the center section at 89 after they saw a car that was at the stop sign on the road. you can see all of the glass on the ground. they fall it fired multiple shots at the collar. strabo it's hit homes in the background. this is video which shot you can see to bullet holes and at this home over here. we understand one person inside were struck by a stray bullet.

suspects behind the shooting happened on 89th, d. the suspects were behind that greene began right there. they fired from a distance at a car parked at this intersection here. we're not sure they were visiting somebody at the homes or they were trying to get through the intersection. you can see all the glass on the ground. stray bullets hit three homes in the background. this is video of one of the homes that was hit by the stray bullets. two bullets went through this fall. one person inside the home was injured at the time. he is at the hospital. there are multiple bullet holes at the other to homes as well. they are not for one not the intended targets they happen to be on my time. we are not sure the motive or how many people in the car at the time of the shooting. because the suspects fled on foot there were very
