picked up pursuit of a vehicle was stolen truck, they lost sight of it. when officers came around this band they some of the truck smashed into a power pole. the driver of the stolen truck was found dead on arrival. the crash was so bad it is not known if the deceased is male or female. in and knocked out power to 400 residents. pg&e says 100 customers relying on candlelight are expected to be without power until the early morning. traffic tied up in both directions. pg&e crews worked to restore power, several law enforcement agencies and the d.a.'s office investigate the crash scene.
