11:00 a.m., jobless americans are staying stuck on the unemployment rolls longer. that is a new study. 30 percent of americans receiving unemployment benefits have been doing so for more than a year. that is an increase of 25 percent over last year. 4.2 million americans have been without a job of least a year out of the 14 million total. economists predicted today's growth report will show about three and a half percent growth. they most likely spend more freely giving the economy solid momentum. looking ahead economists expect consumer spending will rise for all of 2011. retailers looking for to that anyway. here's a quick look at wall street. stock futures are down slightly this hour

the canal this morning using sonar equipment. yesterday they did not search but they did more planning. they do still believe the car driven by the suspect, could be at the bottom of the canal. eyewitness claims he saw a vehicle matching the description of jose redresses cartwright began shortly after the disappearance. driver sorry divers have come up empty. well they found 11 cars. but none of them matching the description of the one they're looking for. a search is underway in the golden gate park for a missing teacher. she will did not show for class in san rafael. students did find the words " thank you everyone " written on the board in the classroom. she lived near ross and was last seen near wednesday. they searched trails around phoenix lake which is the place where she likes to hike.
