live from the kron 4 news station, this is the kron 4 news. at 5:30 >> at 5:30 our developing story the east bay bridge is backed up. video of the accident caused these problems. 2:15. the working crews and heavy equipment are on the east bound of the lower deck of the bay bridge. a big rig spilled 50 t of sand. it took them nearly three hours to get this all cleaned up. fortunately, no injuries. however, commuters are paying the price. all lanes open and reggie kumar is monitoring traffic. he is live from of fulton and fifth. it is moving a little bit. >> finally! fifth street, bryant street and it is

backed up but not as bad just a few moments ago. traffic is finally moving to these intersections. and during this area when they get on the bay bridge. and entering this area--and they remain frustrated. however, they're going to take a break. and they're going to get light, have dinner. that driver is amy peterson. >> i've been in my car for 1.5 hours. >> how frustrated? >> pretty frustrated. and because i am a bay driver i know that it is long. >> how long do you should commute? >> 45 minutes. from here to redwood city. >> it is the 1.5 hours already and i've not even move. >> you can see people are moved up.
