crew uc says they're being told this road will stay shut down until least 630 sunday evening. >> marty: you can stay up-to- date on our web site www.kron4.com. rescuers are searching for a snowboarder who went missing on mount shasta. the siskiyou county sheriff's department says additional agencies from northern california and oregon joined the search effort saturday for 23- year-old alexander gautreaux. about 100 people are currently involved. siskiyou sheriff's spokeswoman allison giannini says gautreaux went missing thursday at mount shasta ski park after calling his family around noon to say he was going to make one more run before returning home. giannini says rescuers are trekking through snow along two snowboarding routes at the park that gautreaux takes most often. two feet of snow has fallen since thursday. a man is in critical condition after being shot several times last night. the 21 year-old suffered life- threatening injuries when the bullets flew through his window. it appears to be a drive-by

shooting, no arrests have been made. police this morning did not have a suspect. in the east bay there were transmission problems with hand-held radios saturday morning as it responded to a shooting at the hotel pierr. it was a combination of e age of the antennas and the weather. reggie kumar has more. >> reporter: the third time opd is dispatch has caused problems for officers trying to communicate with each other. the most recent happen saturday morning, officers were called to a shooting at this hotel on enterprise way. two people were shot at the hotel but none of the injuries were life- threatening. it would not confirm whether the wheel problem contributed not in not finding the shooter. will try to secure the scene plays officers reported having transmission

problems with their hand-held radio. technicians believe the isolated the problem to a specific antenna. the antenna was replaced, testing shows it is back to normal. earlier this month they had a similarly problem appeared january 26th, they lost communication with dispatch during the pursuit. because of the technical issues the chief ordered officers to patrol with a partner until the problem has been resolved. mayor quan says the police department's communications system is in the process of being upgraded. once the new equipment is installed the city hopes that will prevent future problems. in oakland reggie coulcome more kron 4 news. >> marty: pg&e says it would have not monitor the pipeline any differently. this is video from the explosion. pg&e says
