of 16 year-old matthew miller and 17 year-old gavin were discovered on sunday in concord. you could see people beginning to gather. they both went to a high school in walnut creek, many of their friends of will be there this evening to honor their memories. near the creek itself and with the two died, this makeshift memorial has been set up. you could see flowers and posters and sides and ribbons all set up for they teenagers. now officials are trying to determine whether additional fencing are warning signs are needed near the city flood control channel where the two were tried to raft. you could see the signs already posted there. they're calling for additional fencing will be presented to the county board of supervisors next week. parents and teachers at westwood himself for what elementary schools are breathing a collective sigh of relief. they broke out in cheers last night with the budgets dropped about diablo

from yesterday to see the flames shooting out after the big rig plowed into a car that was part of the side of the bridge. the fire crews worked to extinguish the flames. as kate thompson talked to the fire chief involved in putting yesterday's blaze. she joins us live to explain the dangers leading up to this. >>kate: the fire chief has a lot of concern about the danger with the dumbarton bridge. no. 1 there is only one fire hydrant for the bridge and it's not even on the bridge. it's located at the base of the bridge. the way the bridge is designed it there is this large slope that goes up towards. we can show you video from chopper for that will illustrate the rise in this bridge. the fire chief said those two things combined, and not have been water available for first responders like with what happened yesterday, plus the fact that any sort of gasoline or

a truck carrying anything flammable if it flipped over and was involved in a fire all of the flammable liquid would roll down the hill. with a water source of the bridge, firefighters would be really hard pressed to put that fire out. >> it's been one of our war scenarios on this bridge is to have the vehicle with gasoline or tanker truck and the gas sexual still the overpass and catches everything in its path. and we don't have adequate water supply for foaming agents to put the fire out. >>kate: the fire chief says that for 20 years now, she's just in the stage to put a water source on the bridge. i spoke to caltrans of in charge of the bridge late this afternoon. it they say they have agreed to move the one fire hydrant at the base of the bridge onto the pedestrian walkway which will now mean there will be one more source for 1.6 mi.

as chaplain said we will have the cold air coming down from canada sweeping and over the continental united states especially california. the areas that we have circles are areas where you might see snow. there is in blue are the areas where will you will see snow for shore. the tops of the santa cruz malcolms, the diablo malcolm's and of course the very tip the tops of these deals all these areas we circle the blow those are areas that are taller than 1,000 ft. above sea level. those are areas that if it snows and it is likely to do so, we will certainly see snow. the top of mount st. helena, you see these would circles with but around those are areas where will also see snow especially during the overnight hours when it gets colder and the snow level dropped to below where to save 500 ft.. this is the

>>pam: 16 and 17 year-old boys were died while there were rafting in walnut creek over the weekend. you could see the sun is setting people bringing out candles to honor the two boys. this is going on at the shell bridge open space area. the teenagers, attended a high school in walnut creek in a number of their classmates are among those sort honoring the memory tonight. the boys went rafting and got in trouble in the canal with the rushing water and did not make it back alive. these people are gathering to remember them tonight. to raise money for both the controversial website and its leader chilly and a son should legal defense, the gift shop is now open for business on line. kimberly has a look at what's for sale. >>kimberlee: everybody wants to know what they're selling. the web page looks like they're selling everything t shirts,
