being warned of a possible pacific gas and electric company's meter reader impersonator. to add to this happened last friday a man was seen coming from to records the man did not identify himself did not get proper righty just said he was from pacific gas and electric company when the victims confronted them the gun in his car and left. described as a man 5 ft.-10 in. tall. their skin the vehicle was a black toyota. new details regarding san bruno gas line explosion pacific gas and electric company replace the pipeline in san bruno in the '90s but stopped short of the section that failed. dutchman's contained by the mercury news showed that pacific gas and electric company decided not to take up that line because the company insisted there was no risk to the public. eugene cruz came with in 300 yds are replacing that line that failed. meanwhile the

san as a fire orders have approved a contract calling for 10 percent reduction. firefighters agreed to have only four firefighters on trucks and 75. firefighters agreed to perform pension packages. the city of oakland is dealing with its own deficit totaling $46 million. the city council voted last night on bald measures to help fill that gap. a general tax increase was not improved. some boded no. it did pass, it sets and $80 tax to be paid. voters will decide if they want the tax during a special election june 7th. the city of santa clara and state authority and will be holding a special meeting tonight to discuss the
