since the first four g smartphones. four g is supposed to be up to 10 times faster than 3 g. this fall as fast. but i was surprised at how fast it is. youtube videos loaded inflated instantly. surfing the web was uncertain what a laptop. i wanted to see a test of speed compared to the i phone 4 which runs on three j. the i phone on the left in the thunderbolt on the right. the thunderbolt was faster than the i phone for about one to three seconds faster loading the web page. the thunderbolt is like a big i phone it has a giant touchscreens, no physical keyboards slides out. it runs on google is an android operating system, if it felt good in hand, light weight considering how powerful was. i was impressed with the thunderbolt is really fast. its presence first four g smartphones. the thunderbolt cost to enter the $50 with a two-year contract. as you know most smartphones of

the >>pam: now, at 6:30 p.m., tonight's big stories in one big block of news. more crews, more stories. right now, today's top story. dangerous landslides in the bay area, two of the worst are a hercules and in san paulo. homes were damaged in a hercules when mud ploughed read into some homes. we're going to start in san paulo as we mentioned were several homes are right on the edge of disaster. kate thompson is live in san pablo with the latest. >>kate: neighbors here are scared, imagine if you were living next door or across the street from this. this is the house that suffered the worst damage. he conceded drainage pipes sticking out of the ground and the rest of this backyard has just completely crumbled. we will show you one of the steepest drops where you can see just feet, eight or 9 ft. of land has just washed away down the hill. right now, neighbors in this area are gathering together to come up with a game plan before they meet with the city tomorrow. the

last week's big storm continues in the oakland hills where the city's public works department is cleaning up mudslides here along skyline boulevard. take a look at how the loader is scooping up the dark soil. in fact an oakland public works spokesperson told me that days after the intense storm, the soil remains saturated in parts of the oakland hills. adding that the new soil brought down 17 trees and costs 16 mudslides. in addition to removing the mud, public works crews will also clear up areas along skyline like this for the rain brought down stones into the roadway. hazard for all those as well a cyclist. in the oakland hills, kron 4 news. and >>pam: hillsborough construction crews are working round-the-clock to stabilize a portion of woodbridge road. if they say the hillside was so saturated because the road to sank 6 ft.. a mild sunny day is helping drive out the
