far. this is old in the plane from friday's incidents. it shows an incident of the teeth and crashing. that was there before the incident happened. the inspection continues and 19 other planes inspected using the test showed no problems. those planes will be returned to service. hundreds of flights have been canceled over the weekend and more delays expected today. they have a hub here in oakland, that's where we find will trend. >> will: so far eight flights out of oakland have been canceled so far. that number should stack up as the morning progresses. they have added 30 minutes ago three more cancelled flights coming in, from omaha, los angeles, phoenix. lots of people asking what's going to

happen once they get to their other destinations. the good news is most of the flights are taking off of oakland. here's a video that we shot this morning, already before the first plane took off at 6:40 a.m. you can see the word cancelled throughout southwest airlines board. i can tell you they are famous for making multiple stops around the way. according to them that's how they keep their fares low. a lot of people are taking off this morning but it might be a very long day. no matter where you go there is a chance you might make multiple stops. here is a reaction from one traveler headed to minneapolis. >> i have to be at a meeting at 10:00 a.m. minneapolis time and i hope i make in time. >> will: is a direct flight? >> i'm worried about that because i have to stop at denver. hopefully will be ok there. >> will: incredibly a lot of

some delays >> mark: inspections continue southwest and federal officials say they found small cracks in three more of the planes. similar to the one it suspected of calling the fuchsia law's failure. they spoke about the recent cracks. >> these planes are now on the ground, the bad news is the inspection regimen used probably wouldn't pick up the kind of cracks we have found i anticipate there will be more planes found, more flights grounded. as a look more closely using ultrasound which is a better way of detecting these microscopic got icracks. >> james: let's talk about the weather, what is going to be hot

southwest airlines, they're doing inspections that could cause delays and cancellations. 60s still need to be inspected for cracks in three more planes have been found. similar to the ones you see here that were found on friday. there is a gaping crack in the top of this jet. if you drill launch failure is being investigated. the area shows evidence of fatigue cracking and that was there before the plane took off. in the inspection includes 19 other planes that did not show any problems. if you are flying southwest you may run into delays and cancellations because of the inspections. will tran as live in oakland with an update. it looks like oakland it has been heavily affected.
