bail. he's accused of murdering four young california woman. we have a map showing where the victims were found one in marin, 1977, across the bay, 1978, to victims or found it yuba county '93-'94. last year they searched his house and found evidence that they say and intend to these cold case murders. >> during that arrest investigators found adams that implicated him in multiple murders of young women. examination of the items along with the results of a forensic analysis, let marin investigators to connect him with the death.

>> james: welcome back to the kron 4 news. developing story 77 your man accused of killing ellis' for women including two right here in the bay area will be appearing in court today. investigators are looking into whether not he has more victims in new york. he's accused of murders that date back more than three decades. he was arrested for probation violation. he is linked to murders in fairfax, court costs at any by county. >> justine: at tax force will be contacting cold case detectives to see if any of their investigations could be linked to him. kron4 is maureen kelly takes a look back.

>> reporter: 18 year-old north carolina student went missing three weeks after arriving in the bay area where she came to study photography. she was last seen in june of 1997 as she left her summer job. search dogs followed% to land's end, no trace of paris from there. it has been nearly 43 years and she went missing, she was working late one night in october of '96, she didn't turn up for work the next day but her car was found in san carlos unlocked with turkeys in the ignition. her disappearance remains a mystery. more than 22 years ago 39 lean was seen walking from school to the ice rink. she never turned up, and then at the tips have panned out. an
