live from the kron 4 news station, this is the kron 4 news. >>pam: a natural gas leak near state highway 92 has closed the road in both directions between main street and skyline boulevard in half moon bay. on the phone is sergeant trend across. what is going on? can you tell us exactly this happening. >> caller: yes. at approximately 4:30 multiple calls of gasoline between maine and the skyline on highway 92. we have working crews from half moon bay, pg&e, public works and caltran that are working to figure out the problem. if this is where this is coming from... at 5:20 they have closed that a gas line area from pg&e.

>>pam: is traffic flowing as it should? >> yes. initially we closed all of the traffic because of the gas flowing causing a serious public safety threat. we were going to shut it down and once pg&e were notified they cut the gas. no is back to normal flow. >>pam: with the gas main is shut down, not the traffic is flowing back to normal. thank you for the update. >>pam: the department of fish and game is reporting several hundred fished died in the watsonville near that fire that is been burning for several days. jeff bush explains why those fish died. >>pam >>reporter: catfish, sunfish, fish, carp the game warden came to check it out they determined that the fire retardant run off

was to blame. you can see the intensity of the fire. they put everything the head of the fire with millions of water, and fire retardant. it was intense and had to be done to get the fire out of control. all of this water had the heat, the ash, the smoke and officials say that is what was the lethal combination for the fish. the department of fish and game say that this is a one time it deal and but they do not expect any more fish to die. in watsonville, jeff bush, kron 4 news. >>pam: the serial killer is accused of killing four women in the 1970's, the 1990's. two of these women were found in the bay. the other were found in yuba county. we spoke to people in ne people who knew him and

4 news station, this is the kron 4 news at 6:00 p.m. >>pam: at 6, new worries that two different areas cities that their homes or over one section of pipe similar to blue up in san bruno in september of last year. pg&e is testing. residents have strong concerns. one of the sections is through a mountain view, the other in antioch jonathan blum is live. jonathan? >>reporter: pamela, this is one section that pg has identified as similar to the pipeline that blew up in san bruno last year. it is a similar diameter. it was also will but with similar techniques. we have a video cahovideo demolished that neighborhood. that pipeline is still being examined by federal investigators. it is
