>> funeral services for 2 san francisco firefighters, thousands of people are expected to come into the city for the funeral. killed in the line of duty. here are their photographs. lt. vincent perez and a paramedic anthony valerio died from injuries while battling a house fire. here is a photograph of that fire. and that happens on june 2nd in the diamond heights neighborhood of san francisco. perez died from his injuries that date. valerio died the following saturday morning. will tran has been standing by at st. mary's cathedral in san francisco where the funeral is expected to take place. >> it will take place at 12:30 p.m.. thousands of people are expected to be here, so much so they have an overflow room. 5000

law enforcement members including members of the public because it is open to the public, will be here. here is a video of the vigil from last night. a lot of people will be here including the governor, lieutenant governor, house democratic leader nancy pelosi. anthony valerio was with the fire department for 14 years. he simply could not overcome the severe injuries to his lungs as well as 12 percent burns to his body. his brother and family have been winning all week. his brother says a anthony was a very funny guy. san francisco has been bracing for this for a long time. for the first time, fire fighters, all 1500 will be able to be here to pay final respects. fire departments from all over the bay area as well as northern california have retained personnel to fill in for the san francisco fire fighters. the other fire
