[music] >> good morning, happy friday. those stories and more in just a few minutes. our big story right now, the repair on the muni rails, they had an issue overnight and now it is resolved. we are live at the muni station, how are things rolling? >> everything looks like it is back to normal. this is the outbound train that we've seen running for the last 12 hours. but now in the last five minutes, we're starting to see the trains go into the tunnel in down. we saw one coming in from the avenues, now we see one going into the tunnel for repairs. about 45 minutes ago, they had to replace about 600 ft. of the electrical cable inside of the tunnel, that would the morning drive time commute

to in jeopardy, but they got the repairs done in time. now you can see that the trains are starting to roll through the tunnels built it looks as though it will not have any effect on the morning commute. >> that is good to know, mark. >> we have been following the latest with our team coverage from the traffic center. >> thank you, as we continue to update the conditions there, there highway 1 01 ride looks good as you can see, because we have had no other hot spots besides the muni metro issue. the golden gate bridge drive coming in from ran county is a problem free. we will continue to bridge checked at the bay bridge toll plaza. i was on the phone trying to get some information about an accident that was reported at the bay bridge toll plaza. we have turned the camera so that you can see the writing in the west bound direction. as you can see, the meter lights have been activated already. it

is not even 6:15 a.m.. we may have developing problem for the west bound ride. despite the late traffic, you can see things are bunching of normally we do not see traffic starting to back up until well past 6:15 a.m.. looking at such a ride to the san mateo bridge, you will see that the commute on 92 is still a pretty light one. this was the way the bay bridge look before we have the reported accident at the toll plaza. again, the metro problem that her jackie has been covering in the inbound commute appears to be moving much better now than we have seen our first trains moving both ways. >> now we will start off by taking a quick look at the bay bridge. we have some hazy conditions over san francisco. a swath through the whether headlines. patchy coastal fog, we will see temperatures

asking people to volunteer and help in the search as the authorities have classified heard--her appearance as a homicide. >> we are following a man that was kicked off of a flight because he refused to all of his sagging pants. 20 year-old deshon marmen will be arraigned at 1:30 p.m.. he was kicked off of u.s. airways flight at sf all. subsequently he was arrested on wednesday because they told him at the gate to pulled his pants because his, you know that style wear his underwear were showing. he got on the plane, he refused again, they tried to arrest him an officer was injured and he was arrested for trespassing, battery of and --a police officer. some people question whether or not deshon marmen civil- rights law were violated. we spoke with a lawyer and they said did not have enough

information to decide that define this case troubling. >> there is no indication that they have actual dress code, there is no indication that there is something indecent about the fellow, inappropriate is in the eye of the beholder. and allowing someone who has paid for a ticket with no indication of a written dress code to be thrown off of a plane because a single employee does not like the way he is dressed is really in a recipe for a discretionary report it. and remember 40 years ago man with long hair or billiards, they face a lot of discrimination. it seems commonplace today, it seems ridiculous that that would be the case. fashions change and it is a problem when the times did not change with them. >> fashions and to change. remember four years ago the girl got on the southwest flight she had a short miniskirt and a short blouse. they made her cool

multi vehicle accident. it has blocked the three right lanes, mostly clear but still affecting traffic in right lane. the base of the incline and still garnering a lot of attention for the motorists passing adjutancy. it is backed up now, well beyond the toll plaza flats in the west bound direction as the metering lights were active it quite early. even past the scene of the crashes, you can see that is heavy up the inbound ride. they have a mostly clear over to the right hand side as you can see, but still a number of emergency vehicles on scene. what was a light commute has suddenly changed. continuing with the san mateo bridge right, problem free, no delays. the golden gate bridge ride looks good for 1 01 south bound is light traffic for in and out of moran county in both directions. muni metro had problems in the

>> welcome back to the morning news, continuing to track a hot spot at the bay bridge toll plaza with a west bound ride has been back up. an accident arrive at the base of the incline section had for a while block the three right-hand lanes. it has been moved over to the parking lot mostly, but the right lane is still affected. traffic is up at the bay bridge toll plaza.

been camping out overnight. >> since about 8:00 p.m. last night, the line is now on the hundreds, expected to reach the thousands over the next few days. people desperately trying to get themselves a refinancing so they did not lose their home. there are armed with all of these documents. they want to help expedite the situation. we want to show some pictures from earlier this morning. now the hope is that they can come in and meet up with lenders of the naca and modify their loans and bring down their payments depending on how much they're on the water or how much they owe. burn it down a few percentage points. that may be the difference between losing their home to foreclosure and keeping them. that problem has been looming over the last few months especially as foreclosures go up. hopefully about half of them will have the same day solution, hopefully as i talked with people earlier

no delays east bound o west bound. the only hot spot is the bay bridge back of an accident. for your right to the golden gate bridge, you see good conditions both directions, north down and south bound as james indicated there is the fog hanging off the coast. we may see a little of it creek inn, but it should not affect the south bound one- to-one ride. we started to ride with the muni metro the lake, they did have-that's the muni metro delay, they did have problems because they were late with repairs. but all of that has been repaired. the system should be back to normal if not already been very shortly. now here is james fletcher. >> it looks as though the temperatures will give back to normal next week. a look at the freeway, is a breakdown of the next three days. today partly cloudy

square miles in the eastern part of the state is on fire here. they have a pre evacuation notice that has been put out for south east because of the high winds yesterday. that is 33 percent contained, and more winds are expected through the weekend. they have 4600 firefighters just on that fire. they think that it was a camp fire that started it on memorial day. then another fire in arizona that they're battling that has burned down 40 homes, more than 9,000 a.. this one, extreme drought has made this worse. the grass is very dry, low humidity and wind gusts at 35 mph. this one is 17 percent contained, it has jumped a highway so there are concerned about that. and then on the mexico colorado border, the firefighters are having a tough time with this one. they have several fires in this area, one of them has burned nearly 26,000 a. and

destroyed eight homes and six other structures. >> on to flooding, the upper missouri river levees seem to be holding but the sandbags are ready to go in nebraska. omaha is under a flood warning because of the water along the missouri river. they are worried about levy breaches. as many as 2700 people may need to evacuate if the water continues to rise. the river has been rising for weeks. the army corps of engineers has been in trying to make room for the words of more --make room in the reservoir for the heavy rain. tomorrow we will air nbc programming and bring a special edition of kron4 news. tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. we have a minute to minute, then law and order criminal intent at 9:00 p.m. and then kron4 news at 10:00 p.m..
