helping to search for the missing bay area boulders. >> several of the missing people are right here from the bay area. right now there are still seven people that are missing. today we learned that the one confirmed death is a bay area man. on tuesday, a coastguard crew from air station in sacramento got involved. c130 plane is the coast guards main long- range search and rescue plane in arrive right here in mexico on tuesday afternoon right here near san for the bay. they're searching for people aboard this vessel so it is a 115 for a boat that left san felipe dit had 43 passengers a capsized at 2:30 a.m. on sunday. right down here about 60, to 70 mi. south of

capsized off of mexico's coast. they say that the boat when --went under early sunday morning. now we're learning new information. grant lotus is here to show us how the california crew is helping in the search for the missing bay area boaters. >> several of the missing people are from the bay area. we know that, and there are seven people that are still missing and one confirmed death. late this afternoon we learned that the confirmed death is a sense of cisco native. on tuesday, the coast guard crew from aerostation sacramento got involved. there--their c130 may long- range plane flew all the way to mexico and arrived there on tuesday afternoon. u.s. and mexican officials are searching for what people believe to be about seven individuals who fell off the

boat when it capsized. it is a 115 ft. boat. in left san felipe de with 43 people on board. the boat capsized in an electrical storm at 2:30 a.m. sunday. in the middle of the night is sank right there in the sea. it happened about 70 mi. south of here, and the sea of cortez will just a couple miles away from the coast. about 2 mi. away from the coast when it sank, right here. these islands and here are why people have some hope that you might be able to continue to rescue people because some have swim to the islands and then were rescue. others were able to float. not a recovery mission yet. as i launch the video of the rescue, you can see that the waters are pretty calm. that is getting experts hope, it is pretty warm about 77

degrees. obviously people have a better chance of surviving this ordeal with a better--with a better elements in place. the search has expanded to 60 mi. off shore. see these people have been rescue some have sunburn, cuts and bruises but they're happy to be alive. >> within the last two hours we learn that one victim that died in a boating accident grew up in san francisco his name is less ye he is wearing a yellow shirt in this photograph the tell us that he grew up in chinatown but in recent years he lived a couple of hours outside of the city. he is the first fishermen to be confirmed dead in this incident. and merphies husband was on the boat with him and says that her husband is broken up over his death. >> to have a friend from the 38 years die and someone that he was talking to not minutes before, i have never known him to be this down. >> we have been talking

with family members of the victims in this case. you will hear how some of the boaters managed to survive. that is coming up new tonight on our news at 8:00 p.m.. and not guilty verdict for casey anthony, the floor mother that was accused of killing her two year-old daughter. casey anthony was cleared of murder, manslaughter and child abuse charges which could land her a death penalty. she was found guilty on four misdemeanor counts of lying to the investigators. the conviction could her up to one year in jail. since she has already served almost three years in jail there's a possibility that she could walk free on thursday when she is sentenced. the jury to just 11 hours to reach their verdict. none of the jurors talk to the media today here is what the judge and the attorneys in the case had to say. >> case eatery anthony, a juror of your peers have found you not guilty to the charge contained in count one of the indictment, murder in the first degree. >> the case is over.

tomorrow, casey anthony could go on the steps of the courthouse and confess to murder and under the double jeopardy clause of the constitution she could not be tried again. >> our mountain of evidence did not eliminate in the jury's view every reasonable doubt. >> there are no winners in this case. ceilidh has passed on far too soon. >> for us the case has never been about the defendant in particular. so it is always been about seeking justice for cayley and speaking on her behalf. >> the best feeling that i have today is that i know i can go home and my daughter will ask me what did you do today? and i can say i save the life. >> there was a lot of dramatic reaction to the verdict today. >> the verdict might be in but the drama is not over and some of it is coming from the defense attorneys. they're very happy about the
