a.m. after people in the rock bridge neighborhood of oakland made the discovery. the burning body was at the corner of ivn hoe and chabot road. leah says although she did not witness with the oakland police say was a female body being burned in front of her home around 4:30 a.m. thursday morning, however she told me that when she later learned after the police arrived that it was a woman's body being covered by this yellow park, she became overwhelmed by her thoughts and emotions. >> i have a daughter, and she was somebody's daughter, somebody's friend at some point. it is just awful. as i would like to be able to pray for them, and think about them and keep them in my thoughts. >> she says it this quiet rock ridge neighborhood will forever be changed as a result of this gruesome incident.

dorado county. the court's order prevented us from doing that but now that the case has been adjudicated, we have the opportunity to do that. this is a predominant leave in that there are some uncanny and similarities to this case that the garrido particularly phillip garrido presents. the physical similarities between jaycee dugard and this young lady if you compare their photographs side by side, they could be sisters. >> the reason that hayward police cannot question phillip garrido or nancy garrido about the kidnapping because the judge presiding over the jaycee dugard case ruled against it. we spoke with the young lady's mother who is frustrated by the delay. >> it has been two years of not being able to get anywhere with it. if it does turn out to be the case, that it was garrido, and we spent these last two years without being able to get those answers because of

information about the unsolved case. >> we begin with kron4 teresa estacio shows us what police believe it is critical to meet one on one with the garrido family. >> on the left is a picture of a missing michaela when she was kidnapped at age 9, on the right jaycee dugard when she was kidnapped at age 11. as you can see, they look similar, this is what hayward police have been eagerly awaiting to interview the garrido family. >> physical similarities between the two of them, if you compare the photographs a side by side, the could be sisters. there are some similarities between phillip garrido his likeness in that era of time that michaela was kidnapped and the composite sketch that was put together in connection with production and they're pretty similar as well. >> there was more to possibly linked garrido to the little girl's disappearance.

>> that combine with another--a number of other circumstantial similarities the fact that he was paroled and not too long before she was a abducted and the fact that we know him to have been in this area. >> he says that garrett's disappearance is deeply personal with the department including himself. he was on duty the day that she was taken. >> i was working that day that she was kidnapped and it has been on my mind for all this time. >> michaela's mother has been anxiously waiting for the police to interrogate garrido. we spoke with her about the reason that she thinks that he could be the man responsible for her daughter's disappearance. >> i really believed on the day that jaycee dugard was found my daughter will be found, i had no doubt. >> that hope faded when the

hayward investigators failed to find any information connected and the search the compound back in 2009. >> her mother says there are still compelling reasons and that some of garrido is one of six persons of interest that the police are looking at in her daughter's disappearance. one reason is how closely he resembles the sketch of the suspect which you can see here in comparison to a photograph that was taken of him back in 1996. >> my daughter's friend really thinks that it could be him, she thinks that looked like the kidnapper that she saw. >> now the revelation that the garrido family were videotaping young girls which started around 19891 year after michaela was kidnapped. >> that means that he was out searching for kids, i know he was in a halfway house in 1988 i am not sure if it was all of 1988 but i know that he had freedom to

come and go. and i know that nancy was in the house in antioch in 1988. i just want peace, i does want to know where my daughter is. >> and burned body found in oakland rock bridge district, this is video from the scene of the police are trying to figure out what is going on, their first priority is to identify the body which they say is difficult because of the extent of the burns. the body was found near this intersection, we take a look that one possibility oakland police are considering relating to how the body wound up in that location. >> murdered in an unknown location been driven to a quiet north oakland neighborhood and set on fire right here. in the city's rock bridge district. that is one of the theories that oakland homicide detectives are working and connection to a body being found here early thursday morning morning in the middle of the street. the heat so intense that it left these black

burn marks in the road. oakland police said that they have been able to determine that the murder victim was a female and that she appears to have suffered some kind of trauma to her body prior to being burned. however investigators said they will have to wait for the autopsy results to learn the identity of the victim considering the identity of the body, investigators said that could take several weeks. >> new details about the suspect accused of stealing a picasso sketch from a sense of fiscal gallery. we have learned that this may not have been his first run in with a lot for a high price heist. investigators just revealed a they have found several stolen artworks inside of the suspects new jersey apartment. j.r. stone has been following the story and he joins us now with the very latest. what kind of art are we talking about? >> all over the board, according to this e-mail from the new york city
