most people will tell you that a red light means stop. seems pretty obvious. there is something about getting behind the wheel that brings out the bad behavior in people. here is stanley roberts. >> reporter: notice the red arrow. now notice a big rig turning right against the red arrow. watch the car at the bottom of the screen, also runs the red arrow. now watch the silver suv followed closely by a white car and those also run the no turn on red signal. i'm at the intersection of oak and octavia in san francisco where a fatal accident occurred. this intersection has red light cameras in two directions but not for right turns so drivers
4:56 am
exploit that fact. for such a busy intersection i was surprised by the amount of distracked drivers. while this road doesn't seem to be designed for big rig are lots of trucks passing through, sometimes at break neck speeds. something else i noticed. when the light turns green drivers often just sit there causing loud horn blowing often because the driver is in the wrong lane so they block traffic whether at the light or a few car lengths behind. then there is this driver who turns from the no turn lane. it seems like with all the traffic engineering in the world nothing can help plain old bad driving. in san francisco, stanley roberts. >> if you know anyone that is behaving badly you can contact stanley through his facebook page or e-mail him at people behaving badly@kron.com.

fire department and maybe we will get more information. so far macro plastics has not said whether they will be opened. but you can see the chain- linked fence that is melted over, you can see one of those plastic containers melted and that is what burned yesterday, this is the world's largest manufacturer of the plastic containers, they carry produce and product around, hundreds of them burned yesterday and you can see thousands more stacked up in the nearby yard. this is where it happened, firefighters fought for about three hours yesterday trying to put the fire out. luckily it didn't spread to the main manufacturing plant. they were able to put it out before it spread any further. could it have been much worse if it spread to the remaining pallets, thousands stacked up here. you can see where we're compare to the manufacturing plant and you can see the crews behind
5:36 am
the wall is where the plant is. never made that it far but you can see the stacked up pallets, it could have gone that far but luckily for firefighters they were able to contain. >> it i guess the fallout is the companies that use the plastic containers, is that what they use in stores. >> it is mostly shipping containers. >> they are big. >> they are full of apples and oranges, they are four feet by four feet and you can see them a lot of flatbed trucks carrying produce and other items. it looks like they have a large supply, one of the world's largest suppliers of these things. it looks like it may not have a dramatic effect as far as that goes but obviously business as usual today or probably not. thanks a lot, jackie. this is the latest into the crime 4 newsroom out of norway, the prime minister there is now
