are also damning new documents that reveals how phillip garrido remain a new man what he kept jaycee dugard trapped into his backyard. we spent the day of digging through the district attorney's findings in this case. >> i spent the day sorting through these 150 pages of new documents. in it, the district attorney it --basically said the the system needs to be fixed. the documents show that the clinical findings of doctors and letters written from philip garrido to his parole supervisors, they show letter from the parole supervisors to phillip garrido all with the appearance that the look garrido was someone who was reformed. the district attorney said that up until august 25th of 2009 he look like a complete success story. he looked as though a reformed criminal but after the videos on surfaced and

>> governor jerry brown says the he is concerned about the partisanship shown during the debate. he compared it to his own state of negotiations this year. he says it that it makes been nearly impossible to forge compromises. in washington despite weeks of struggle, a compromise is now law. this is a live look where congress has moved on from the critical debt ceiling talks. catherine joins us with details on this new legislation. >> it is over for now anyway, the president has signed legislation to increase the nation's debt limit. we are officially out of danger of what could've been a disaster as a government default. what the president signed it raises the debt ceiling cuts trillions in spending but does not exactly in a long and nasty partisan battle. for one thing, it did not raise taxes, one of the issues that we have not

was alarmingly bad. manufacturing was at borderline levels. and spending has dropped for the first time in 20 months. that is bad. we never drop that spending, we always use our paychecks, so we are saving more money which is good but we are not using which is that. our economy is 70% spending. >> the republicans said we need more tax cuts, the democrats say that we need more revenue does the government have a role in turning things around? >> the government is always pushing on a string, you need to give it to the private sector to create jobs, you need to stimulate the private sector, like payroll taxes for next year, i will look along those lines, you create jobs by giving more tax revenue and that deficit issue will take care of itself. >> the tax cuts that are now because of the debt deal. it puts a lot of pressure on

coastline in the bayshores. the fog pushes back to the coastline. similar temperatures for today, a couple degrees cooler. the wind gusts will be about 35 mi. per hour in the delta. take a look at the fog out there tomorrow morning. spreading down into the bayshores in the overnight hours. not all the way down to the south bay i think we will see some brief fog down there. it will scale back and it will be a little slower to clear in the peninsula back to the coastline tomorrow afternoon. we could see some fog lingered through the later afternoon hours it will not clear up is quite as good as it did today. looking like this tomorrow. into our inland valleys, the temperatures remain in the upper 80s for the most part.
