kron4 news as we continue to cover the developments on the stock market we will have the latest route the evening and are facebook fan page. a developing story, a string of grass fires we are hearing that some buildings have burned, you are looking live at the scene. daniel is out there joining us live. they say some structures have burned, do we know those are? >> all they have confirmed is that they were out buildings. i do not have a confirmation on a home that has burned, but last reported there were five different fires burning altogether. as soon in, you can probably see some of the smoke coming off of that. it is near a railroad track they suspect that a freight train coming through may have had something to do that. crews have been focusing on this particular area and a little while ago they saw the smoke coming off from this area off to

the left of that truck, but it now seems like they have shifted their attention over to the other side of the track where there is more smoke coming up lately. 30 a. were burned at last check, crews from fire agencies all around are out here working to battle the different places. >> why you have these under control is this about over? >> the last i spoke with they said the fires were under control. the plumes of smoke are not shooting straight up like they were a while ago. it is kind of breezy out here. it was fire that is never a good thing with grass fire. hopefully they're still able to keep it under control but last check they had all fires under control. in the elementary school was evacuated and moved to and other school because of the air quality concerns.

convicted polygamist leader warren jeffs on sexual assault charges. the 55 year-old remain stone faced today as the verdict was read. the charges came after the 2008 raid, that is what you're looking at, he could be sentenced to life in prison now. an analyst testified that he was an almost certain dna match to the child of a 15 year-old mother. he was also accused of assaulting a 12 year old girl. he acted as his own attorney, he claimed that he was a victim of religious persecution. >> a live look outside this afternoon from our roof camera, fogging skies here and through parts of the bay area, oakland, the peninsula and hayward seeing faults already. fog returns into saturday and into sunday,

the temperatures are cooling for the inland valleys. take a look tomorrow morning, the fog is spreading to out the bay area, north bay, south bay, inland valleys and all over the place. the 8:00 hour continues to see fault through the bayshores of course, the north bay and the delta, it will be a quick way to scale back out there tomorrow by 11:00, sitting over san francisco and hugging the coast line into the afternoon again tomorrow it does not look like it will linger over oakland and hayward. we should see some afternoon sunshine there. temperatures around the bay area, '70s and '80s for the south bay. a few degrees warmer in places like morgan hill, a five there, 83 los gatos. up in the inland valleys we will see some warming, about 10 degrees warmer in some spots like pleasanton, a four there, 82 concord, 85 antioch. '60s and '70s for the east bayshores. we should see more sunshine in oakland tomorrow afternoon,

>> it was a pretty scary day for two window washers, there scaffolding collapsed they were rescued both pulled to safety by san francisco fire department. it happened here, maureen kelly shows us what happened. >> the man that shot this video heard the crash one of the support arms of this scaffold that you now see hanging vertically broke loose. >> i did not know if it was an earthquake or a bomb hit, it was just really loud. >> you can see that he's a the equipment about the size of a lamppost fell 17 floors to the courtyard below both workers were left dangling, one man had already been pulled to safety before the video was taken but here, you concede that of a worker is hanging from his safety.

now 110 ft. above the ground on the left is a firefighter trained at high-rise rescues. the broken window on the right is where the scaffolding made contact with a building with it-- when it failed. parker you see the one firefighter guiding one from the ledge, and another from here inside helped to pull the window washer up with this rope. after a second rope was lowered from the firefighters on the roof, the well--real work begins. the man makes it to safety after spending 25 minutes suspended in air. both workers were injured in the accident and transported to the hospital but they are now said to be in good condition. burn >> they use a 90 t crane to remove the scaffolding they had to do that very carefully so it did not damaged the building. some residents had to leave their

condos all this was happening state investigators are trying to figure out what caused that to fail. in other news around the bay, police are looking for a man that they say tried to kidnap a team year-old girl. this is a sketch of the suspect. police said that he is a hispanic man in his 30's. they tried to lure the little girl into his car, but the little girl ran inside and told her relatives, the car is described as a white '90s honda to door with a black roof. a teenager that triggered a statewide amber alert is facing charges. the 16 year-old along with the adult suspect i'll walk were robbed a barbershop and in faked a kidnapping. they say walker entered with a gun took the money and then apparently took the boy by force. police say that teenager who later admitted to taking part in the crime. the man killed yesterday in a boating accident has been identified. he died after

his boat hit a another bigger boat. this is in hunters point near san francisco. his father was with him. he managed to climb on to the capsized boat, but his son was trapped underneath. a van carrying senior citizens crashed in southern california today, at least 15 people were injured this is the scene a short time after it happened that was about 9:00 a.m.. the van hit at least two cars, most of the injuries were minor and it is not clear yet what caused the accident. it appears that a man that drowned on tuesday in the sacramento river was trying to help to swimmers caught in a current. the sheriff says that the pittsburgh resident jumped into the water to rescue to struggling teenagers authorities arrived and they were able to save the two teenagers but then they return for the man, he had disappeared under the water.

a federal judge upheld the decision to combine to lawsuits aimed at reinstating a manslaughter sentence for a man pardoned by former gov. arnold schwarzenegger. both are claiming that arnold schwarzenegger violated state law when he did not notify victims' about the reduction of this man's sentence. pleaded guilty to killing a man in 2008 he is the son of former assembly >> shortly before leaving office he cut his sentence from 16 years down to seven. we have stanley roberts reporting, we are finding a lot of people illegally using disabled placard. >> where is your father at today? he is in livermore?
