with cleanup efforts from hurricane irene. been been >> many of the streets are impassable. this is an aerial view of vermont. you can see the raging waters. more than one dozen towns in vermont have flooded. the roads are inaccessible. some streets are caved in, others are washed out. the national guard is doing what it can to drop off food, water and medicine. take a look at the railroads in vermont as well but are also affected by the flooding. they are still assessing the full extent of the damage.

spot in the north bay for the ride out of santa rosa. an accident heading into petaluma. it is accounting for an extra 20 minute drive time for the southbound ride. normally the ride would be about 15-16 minutes out of santa rosa heading towards petaluma. you could add another 20 minutes with five times running 36-40 minutes for your southbound ride. close to the bay area, no problems. at the bay bridge toll plaza the back of its beginning. the metering lights were turned on or around 6:20 a.m.. pretty much right on time. the drive times are running 10- 11 minutes from the macarthur maze into san francisco. the san mateo bridge ride is a problem free. a 30 minute drive time
