deadly plane crash in russia, how could have an impact on the bay area sports scene. >> nursing student michelle lee has been missing since may, now her childhood friend is behind bars for her murder, today authorities announced that they arrested gisselle esteban in connection with michelle lees and murder. >> of it has been a little over three months since michelle le disappeared as you mentioned and the police said they do not want to rush to judgment in the case especially since they do not have a body but as of

yesterday they say they were sure who the killer was and today she was arrested. >> this is gisselle esteban and now she is charged with murdering her onetime friend nursing student michelle lee that disappeared on may 27th while walking tour car that was located at the hospital parking structure in hayward. >> we believe an assault occurred there in the parking garage what condition michelle was in which he left the parking garage it is unknown. >> the police said that the evidence against her is up substantial. it shows that she was in the parking structure before and after michelle le disappearance. physical evidence suggests that she was inside of michelle lees vehicle, and le;'s blood was found inside the vehicle and her dna was found when they searched gisselle esteban home.

the 16th. as we have been telling you the rest happened this morning at her home in union city. we have been there all day. >> this with the scene in union city where hayward police arrested gisselle esteban and she was leaving her residence early wednesday morning. multiple bags filled with evidence loaded into police vehicles as some police investigators remain on the scene for several hours following at my gisselle esteban address. neighbors said they heard them saying they have a warrant and they were coming in, but no neighbors said they heard any loud commotion while the arrests were taking place. one says they he cannot believe the person that killed michelle le live here. >> it was shocking that it was here at our place and we had no idea, maybe we do not get out and our own community in a what is going on in our own homes. >> a woman was seen entering her residence about

one hour after the investigators left the scene. however she did not comment about what she was doing inside of the location that was just the scene of a huge police operation. >> gisselle esteban only public comment on this case came right after michelle le's disappearance. that is when she told a television reporter that she hated michelle le but did not kill her. as the bond has been in the police cross hairs for months. this is where michelle le was last seen, the medical center at kaiser in hayward at 7:00 p.m. friday may 27th she grabbed her cellphone and told a friend that she needed to get something from her car and then she headed to the rise, surveillance cameras showed her car driving out of the crotch but it does not show who was driving, her white honda was found next day a half a mile away on a cul-de-sac known as ponder rosa court, her cellphone was not inside

investigators say that it pinged cellphone towers before going silent midday saturday. her family reporter missing on saturday with the police did not search her home in san mateo until tuesday, four days after disappearance. it was not until two days later that they turned her cellphone records over to the fbi. police later revealed that they also searched gisselle esteban apartment on may 29th, two days after the disappearance on june 2nd she was interviewed as a personal interest in the case. police searched her home again on june 6th, the same day as this announcement. >> the hayward police department have officially classified this case as a homicide. >> as the bond remained out of sight of the ex-boyfriend said they she had a history of violent behavior in san diego one of them describe how she treitschke wrangling him. >> she has a very short temper and which is live off

two of of a manhunt for a suspect that is wanted in a double murder, local law enforcement closed off an area near the coast hoping to close in on the suspect all this was unfolding as authorities tried a determine if the same suspect was connected to murder a fifth of a couple several years ago. teresa estacio reports tonight that authorities have issued a warning to residents as they search for the alleged killer. >> special on for some teams have been called in as the manhunt intensified to locate this man right here. this is erin, he is the prime suspect in a double homicide he is wanted in connection with the murder of a fort bragg account for man and a former state worker. take a look as these pictures show the sheriff deputies plus the california highway patrol and u.s. marshals teaming up to search for the suspected killer airing. he was last seen here near his mother's home near fort bragg, although a police dog cornered him, he was able to
