estacio reports state law permits people to be naked with some exceptions. >> and california simply walking around naked like this person that we caught on tape in the castro section of san francisco is not breaking the law however the law also states that if a private citizen saw this man and was offended and complained to the police, then they could take action and that action could be an arrest a person followed through with the terms of a formal complaint and that is not all, if the new person was to be aroused or to perform a lewd act, the naked person would be arrested and charged with indecent exposure and that would result in jail time. here in san francisco the city has passed to local ordinances banning nudity in a park or port. there are some cities like san diego that have completely banned nudity in public.

percent said they did not like he is handling the economy this was released after showing a record number of americans are now living in poverty. if you are having a tough time paying your bills, you're not alone the census bureau says that american incomes are lower than they were 13 years ago. in fact they barely improved since lyndon johnson was president and most of the increase is because more women are working male full-time workers are actually earning less than they were in the '70s at the same time the gap between the top and bottom 10% is widening and so is the number of americans living in poverty. last year more than two and half million people slip below the line that is one every 20 seconds. 46 million in all more than any time since the census bureau began tracking poverty in 1959. in terms of percentages the poverty rate is over 50% near its all- time high and the last 30 years.

>> two robberies in the mission district they said woman ran into a hotel room where another man robbed him, both suspects were arrested and near eighth and howard the police say that a man was hit in the face with a bat and he was robbed by two people no arrests have been made in that case the victim suffered minor injuries. in san leandro police officer crash into a liquor store and this was what dealers responded to robbery investigator said the two men, one with a gun try to steal from a liquor store and one of the patrol cars arriving at the scene somehow crash to the front window. the gunmen escaped in the other suspect was caught and arrested stay with us more news coming up.
