before 3:00 p.m3:00 a.m.. --a hh rate of speed and smashed into the guard rail. three fatalities. the fourth person is seriously injured. the c h p is investigating. they are saying that the car could have been chased by local police when it crashed. a news crew is on the way to gather more information. >> in eastern coster costa county a an amtrak train that departed from oakland to crashed near discovery bay into semi truck. several injuries, nothing serious but the driver of the semi truck is not hurt. the train did not the real. nonetheless, it was a frightening experience the train did not-jump the tracks. >> we felt a very heavy jolt. the lights went out. we did not know what happened for quite a while.
