especially tonight and into early tomorrow morning. we do actually even have a chance of seeing some snow up there as well. so storm tracker for right now shows other storms approaching from the north, we will watch a kind of drop down as we head into the evening hours this morning, it looks like the golden gate bridge is looking clear at this point however we're still seeing some patches of clearly dense fog in parts. if you're headed towards the golden gate bridge be prepared for these patches hub there. and right now as we take you through the evening hours we will still see just maybe a little bit in terms of rainfall totals. we're talking several hundreds of an inch that is basically it up by about the 10:00 hour. as you bring it into wednesday evening about midnight it looks like to be a very different picture. we're talking about 1 in. of rain up in the santa rosa and as we head towards tomorrow evening it looks like we'll see close to three-quarters of an inch in san francisco on over an inch in down portions of the south bay it looks like three-quarters of an inch in

oakland. we're certainly expecting quite a bit of rain and heavy rain at that. up in the sierra we're talking about snow as well. we do have a winter storm warning in effect for about 5:00 hour all the way to 11:00. the heavy snow is expected for tomorrow morning at above that sought 7,000 ft. level we could pick about a foot of snow or even more than a believer not. certainly some early season snow. gusty winds reaching about 50 mi. per hour. certainly carry those chains as well if you're heading in that direction. temperatures in the '50s, a few degrees warmer in oakland and by the afternoon will want to low '70s a similar day yesterday temperature wise. tomorrow we have some heavy stuff moving through. the heaviest rain expected until wednesday and even some chances of thunderstorms throughout the day. thursday leaves us with leftover showers the clearing out by the and the workweek and into the weekend that sunshine is finally some to show its face again. it will be much warmer weather for your saturday and sunday. the timing analysis for 40 8:00 a.m., doesn't get a

look at your traffic. >> traffic is picking up from the bay area but the good news is still not seeing much and with accidents this by the wet road with. you're pretty much good to go, but again drive with extra caution, pinot special traffic advisories to tell you about, top speed at the bay bridge toll plaza. traffic is moving well from all three of the approaches, and your dried thyme really only running at about nine minutes from the foot of the maze. and at the san mateo bridge we have seen a steady buildup and the west bound direction out towards foster city no delays or accidents to speak of and the east bound direction outdoors they were this morning. as to take over to the golden gate bridge south bound 101 we're not seeing much traffic here, pretty light conditions just somewhat roadways to contend with as you make your way towards the toll plaza. want to pick up one last camera for you no delays to speak of. in san raphael right now, the 580 split looks good.

again, no accidents are major worries to tell you about and public transit looking good too. no delays at this point. ms. >> and enough fans have been waiting for some time we are hours away from the apple news conference they're holding this morning and they're expected to unveil the latest generation of the iphone. gabe slate gives us an idea of what to expect from the iphone 5. >> now that steve jobs has stepped down will be interesting to see who is trying to fill his shoes. as always, apple is tight- lipped about how the new iphone will be, so let us talk about the speculation here is what i heard that i believe is true. the iphone has a slightly bigger screen there will be thinner and lighter, the new model will go back to the curb backside of past models. the new block square form factor of

the iphone for has got a lot of complaints that it is not comfortable to hold. it will be faster, it will feature the ipad to processor chip, it will have better voice control features and apple needs to catch up to the android in that department. i believe there will announce that it will be on the sprint network as well as verizon and at&t bringing the iphone to all three major carriers this is a big deal because sprint is the only carrier left offering unlimited data plan to allow iphone users want that and could have it when spring its the iphone. here is a detectable more rumors that i do not think will become reality. there will be to phones, one standard and one cheaper with fewer features. in an all iphone, a smaller version we always hear this rumor and it is never proved true. for the iphone 5 will be 40, i wish this to happen but i do not think apple will go for gm to next year. be sure to tune into kron4 news at 8:00 p.m. tomorrow i will fill you in on what apple and sales. if you cannot wait that long and you have access to computer
