skies but it is not hectic just yet, the calm before the storm so to speak, if you look on the storm tracker for you can see the rain starting in the north bay for the most part. a few light sprinkle south of the golden gate this is not the big punch, we will see that later tonight years a look on the satellite picture. the storm up to the north, it is extending around the west coast the heavier rain is still sending offshore and northern california this will cushion later tonight and notice this cold pool their behind the storm and a broken cloud patterns indicating instability meeting thunderstorms for tomorrow afternoon. first us the the the heavy rain for tonight, the 10:00 hour and heavy rain in petaluma and center field. it will only get worse from there by the nine areas of very heavy rain, that is the purple the eupepsia to the north of santa rosa and the deep shade of red that start to approach santa rosa and petaluma through the 1:00 hour and start to push through, notice how fast moving the storm is it was listed at 1:00 here over petaluma, now 1:00 still and

you >> it didn't last all that long but the first real wet weather this season did leavis calling card on the bay area roads. the shower to make their way into the south bay overnight leaving puddles and from what you see here all along on a railroad and morgan hill much of the flooding is blamed on leaves and other debris plugging the storm drains into low-lying areas. hankou trend was also out clearing roadside drainage area and damaged pipes like this when they're running beneath the summit road and los gatos can fail and the two walked out roads, even to the damage on the pipe right there. sinkhole develop in situations like this.
