from moments after the shooting from the cupertino store at a glance. apparently, the video shows shareef allman with an assault rifle slung around his shoulder and maybe even another get around his neck. yesterday morning, but deputies shot and killed after a 28 hour manhunt. this is eric explains what happened. >> the subject was crouched behind a vehicle. our deputies recognized this object as our suspect. our deputies attempted to make contact with the suspect. the suspect was armed with a handgun. all three of our deputies who were present at the state fired shots into the subject was pronounced dead at the scene. that ought the deputies who shot shareef allman have been identified. authorities say

north bay locations. here is a shot from mt. tam showing clear conditions. if we are clear in coming down, getting rid of the active weather and bringing sunshine into the picture. in the south bay temperatures will warm into the low seventies for mountain view and san jose, mid-70s in morgan hill. a slight warm up today, but the warming trend certainly kickstand. on the satellite radar, you can see the storm pushing well to the east of us leaving us with clear conditions. if we have a cloud cover clipping the northern portion of the state and that is about it. we have an abundance of sunshine as we head into the weekend. checkout the temptress. it is cold in santa rosa, now at about 44. 47 in concord. if san francisco right now is one of the more mild locations at 54 degrees. upper 40's for redwood city and half monday. 40 degrees in san jose as well. take you

through the day, but at 10:00 a.m. hour we will see some warming. if temperatures now in the '40's will be into the '60s. we will have a mixture of '50s and '60s by the 10:00 a.m. hour and still and with our afternoon highs topping into the '60s and '70s. here is a look at those numbers. 74 and los gatos, 72 for mountain view and san jose at 66. much of the day will keep temperatures into the low seventies for me to about 73 through the livermore valley. temperatures in san francisco are only warming to about 67 degrees and as you head up to santa rosa and san rafael, it looks like temperatures could break into the '70s. yesterday we stayed in the '60s and today we will work our way into the '70s. the delta could warm to the mid- 70s keeping it at about 73 through the napa valley.

here is your seventh day are on the bay which is a much different picture than last week. we are not putting any wind drops in the forecast as of yet. by the end of next week we could see things shift and another storm killed in. if a call forecasts. we are actively warming up nicely. today, we break up into the '70s. if tomorrow, we could see eighties in some inland spots. it will be a great weekend for the blue angels with a lot of sunshine, we will be in the '70s around the bay in the upper 60s for the coast. monday and tuesday continue with the warming trend. by midweek, we could break up into the '90s. >> we are seeing good conditions on the roadways. that includes the bay bridge right westbound. the metering lights are currently cycled all. there's no waiting at the toll plaza flats. at the san

mateo bridge and there are no accidents or stalls. pretty empty in the westbound direction as you make your way towards foster city. no problems headed east down into a work. on the golden gate bridge, a lot of space between cars. southbound on a one is an enjoyable ride. if we are seeing speeds over 65 mi. per hour. a 23 minute drive from nevada to san francisco. and the bayshore freeway looks good. no problems from one a one in either direction. 280 has top speeds. green on the runway sensors. if we do not have any problems to contend with. we do have some lingering over night construction. traffic is pretty light in the area. we have top speeds there as well. >> in news around the bay, the giants pitcher tim lincecum is facing some legal troubles off, his

former landlord is suing him for $350,000 in damages. she claims that he stole and destroyed items from a san francisco apartment that he was renting. she says after his lease expired, he returned to the apartment and according to hart, a broker, state, defaced, up four, injured or destroyed property. the lawsuit also claims that he failed to pay rent. no word from tam as to what happens. also, some scary moments for passengers aboard a trail a bus that was headed to denver from omaha. if the bus ended up in the medium of the busy highways and in 41 people to the hospital. nebraska police said the bus crashed into a trailer that was blocking lanes, a second truck clipped the big red. the bus driver was critically hurt and many people were treated for minor injuries. no one was

of sunshine. we will start you off this morning will look at your weekend forecast giving you an idea of what you can expect. it looks like will warm up even more as we head into saturday. yesterday's storm pushed out of here leaving us all a lot of sunshine and clear conditions for the rest of the day. here is a look at your current temperatures. 44 degrees. he certainly wants a layer up! as you head into antioch and the livermore valley, mid- 40s and still in the 40's down to san jose and los gatos. as we take you into the afternoon, we will break out of the '60s and work our way into the '70s. the low seventies for redwood city into mountain view and san jose. 75 expected for more detail. in downtown san

francisco, will climb into the mid-upper 60s, warming to the mid-upper seventies near santa rosa. fairfield and concord could reach the mid-70s to date. as we take you through the rest of the week and into next week, it looks like the sunshine will stick around. '80s to the weekend ended by midweek, we could spike into the low 90s. we are looking at a nice a warming trend and stayed dry throughout much of next work week. by the end of the week we could see things change. for now, we are enjoying the dry weather. let's get a look at your commute with erica. >> the decision is is if we do not have any hot spots around the bay area. i have seen a back up in the cash lanes of the westbound ride at the approach to the bay bridge toll plaza. there are no accidents or stalls to tell you about. the drive time is running at about eight minutes from the foot of the maze towards fremont. it is a 14 minute drive

from end to end across the span of the san mateo bridge. if traffic is picking up less balanced. the good news is we are not seeing any delays past the toll plaza. if traffic is moving at top speed towards the high-rise. >> a look at the golden gate bridge shows a lot of space between cars and problem free conditions on your right toward san francisco. on the traffic map, we are focusing in on south bay conditions. 1 01 looks good coming out of san as a toward mountain view. if to 80 looks good, no problems in either direction. top speed are over 50 mi. per hour. no surprise, a little bit of slowing eastbound onto 37 due to some over my roadwork. if speed had dropped to about 40 mi. per hour period for public transit, we're off to a great start with no problems for ac transit, barred for caltrans. >> we have team coverage on the shooting suspect allegedly killed three co- workers and injured seven

other people. kron4 spoke with a friend of shareef allman who tells her that allman told her son on saturday that he was planning to kill people. >> he told my son that he was going to kill some people. if they were going to take away his livelihood, that he was gone to have to do something the same with them. from what he was saying to my son, he knew that there are going to get rid of him and at that point, he was going to take some of their lives as well. who he was talking about exactly, i knew that it had to do with the work force but the individual people, he never gave any names. who even know if there to identify him or not, but i know that he said he was not going to be working for them anymore and that they were prejudiced

and racist. my son did not think he was serious. my son said, he went on and acted like he normally does. after he mentioned that, if he just kept on doing what all shareef does, cracking jokes and everything. i guess st. decided he could not take it anymore and just snapped. >> a friend of allman also tells us that as far as she knows, the suspect you are looking at now was not suffering from any mental illnesses or on any kind of medication. >> authorities are continuing to try to piece together evidence from this horrific crime. friends and family of the suspect tried to figure out what went wrong. terisa estacio went to the home of allman in san jose and give us this report. >> here at the stone department complex where shareef allman lived with his daughter and son, friends and family members are in shock and mourning his death. >> it was a very quiet scene in front of his apartment home and this thursday, one day after the shooting. if a

much different environment than wednesday, as you can see from this at video taken as police detectives took dozens of pieces of evidence from his home. a family member said he was sure beats and nephew declined to be on camera, told kron4 that he had not seen the daughter of shareef or his son said yesterday. when downtown with detectives as dickensian this video. he also told kron4 news that everyone is still struggling to piece together all that happened and how the man that they loved to be involved in such a brutal crime. >> this is a neighbor says that it is a tight-knit community out here and that shareef was well respected. >> what is going through your mind? >> it is crazy. i never thought that he would do that, ever! it is mind-boggling. he was a mentor to all the kids around here. something really bad must have

is not over and oakland. police have the man who is accused of robbing a woman and shooting her in custody. this happened at our hardware store on macarthur boulevard in oakland. the search is over at police have demanded believe is responsible in custody. the search led to the set down of the 580 in oakland and slow down eastbound traffic yesterday. it was quite a headache and it looks like things might be over. police have the suspect in custody. that is coming up. >> a suspicious passenger on a flight forced a pilot to make an emergency landing. here is what other people had to say about what happened on board that flight. >> 911 does, first and foremost in my mind when i hear something like that. >> it was late wednesday night, about 10:00 p.m.. an american airlines flight from new york's was about 20 minutes outside indianapolis went according to police documents, a 20

year-old man from saudi arabia got out of his seat and began pacing, tried to enter the cockpit of the plane. another passenger and got up and escorted the man back to the seat and asked if he did use the restroom. the 20 year-old said nothing, but shook his head no. >> why would anyone tried to do that? they have to be silly ordinance. >> the pilot called indianapolis security to report the disturbance and police man-to-man at the terminal for questioning. according to the report he did not say much, but he told investigators that he was a student at the university of indianapolis, but the school has a record of them. authorities are ran the man's name through state and national crime databases and the search produced no hits. the man was released from custody. >> it makes me not want to get on a plane. >> we are moving on to occupy protesters. they are taking to the streets in new

huge. internet traffic related to his death has not broken records. that includes twitter, people are talking about his death and it has surpassed 10,000 tweed's per second. apple stores across the country have become a pop up memorial sites for fans to express condolences., how much will the death of steve jobs affect apple? gabe slate is taking a look at where apple goes from here. >> we all kind of did this, but now, it is obvious how connected apple customers were to steve jobs. he created a bond with the apple fan base. he was the man behind products and allele apple consumers knew that and kept buying with him at the helm. it will take a couple of years so as to see the impact of his death on products and financial success. i caught up with a tech expert, peacocks, he said that it seems a that steve has successfully passed the torch behind the scenes. >> steve jobs created a
