with kron4 news. >> it is for 04 a.m. protesters gathered for the occupy wall street movement, police allowed protesters to continue to stay in downtown last night and adjutancy, dozens of people have decided to camp out. they say they want to remain unified in their fight against corporate greed. >> it was impossible and a small provider to make a living so you cannot be a small-business person and you cannot a job with a corporation because the the you are too old or over qualified were you going to do? >> officer said the protesters are allowed to continue the demonstrations as long as they remain peaceful. and this demonstration and more and i was not quite peaceful at all. it ended with multiple arrests. here you can see police dragging some people away. authorities warned a group that did not have the proper permits and will be removed from the site if they did not leave.

>> the reason that people are so angry may be due in part to the decline in the american standard of living the recent study found the average family income is more than 10 percent below what was 10 years ago. catherine reports that most of the drop has come after the official end of the recession. >> nearly 12 years ago when america welcome the new millennium, few people with a predicted the economic hard times to come. since then we have had two recessions in teen unemployment climbed to 10%. now, a pair of former census bureau workers have added up the dollars and cents cost. the average household income is slipping fast, as you could see the trend has accelerated since june 2009 when economist declared that the recovery had begun. it is not hard to see why, go to any unemployment office at the start of the recession the average job seeker was i worked for about 17 weeks. by the end of the recession it was 24 weeks. now it is more than

a team to get a vaccine without apparent approval. >> this new law concerning teens and tanning beds makes california the first in the country to make it illegal for teenagers under the age of 18 to use a bed any facility. currently it is illegal for those 14 and under to use the ultraviolet rays it, while 15 to 17 year-old can use it with their parents' permission. also affecting teenagers, the governor signed a new law allowing preteens and teens to be vaccinated against a tv. the leading cause of cervical cancer. right now, the vaccine is only permitted with parental authorization. lastly on the health care fraud, governor brown signed a senate bill requiring health insurance plans to provide coverage for children with autism and other developed will disorders. --other

hillsdale avenue by highway 87. police were called to the scene after someone heard gunshots and saw a man with a handgun when officers approached police tell us the man threatened them and that is when they opened fire suing him--shooting him. now police are asking for help to solve a double homicide. this is south third street and virginia. police responded to reports of a shooting at 11:00 a.m. saturday morning when officers arrived they found a man and woman dead inside of their home. please do not have a motive for the shooting and no suspects have been arrested. >> new details on last week shooting spree in cupertino, a limestone quarry where most of the people were shot is now back open again. last wednesday police said that shareef allman opened fire on co- workers at the high southwest cement plant. he killed three people injured several others and after an extensive search and was found next day but in that confrontation with police he

>> here at the service station someone apparently tied this to the trash and dumped all of this. and this paint, many have no tops and there are truck tires and contenders tomorrow will have a slow leak. on a normal day the oakland apartment public works would attempt to clean this up but not on this day, this is one of several days off for public works employees the people who more than likely would have to do the cleanup all due to a 50 million our budget deficits or of this trash will sit for at least one more day. the city of oakland has always had a problem with people dumping stuff like this container and an old couch, you may think that is in a trash can with the problem? actually

morning in new details as well we are learning about an officer involved shooting that left a man did in san jose early yesterday morning. as rob fladeboe reports they said the shooting may be related to earlier reports of gunfire in the same area. >> shortly before 6:00 a.m. monday some copley's reporting that there was a man on the sidewalk with a gun outside the central county vocational high school in south san jose. for police confronted the man near the intersection of hillsdale where the man made a threatening gesture towards the officer who then shot and killed him. >> so, to officers basically approach this individual with a handgun the individual does place some kind of threat and one of the officers discharge his fire on a shot the suspect the suspect when data was later pronounced dead at the scene. >> about an hour-and-a-half before the officer involved shooting police were called here to a location about 1 mi. away from the school due to earlier reports of shots

avenue please see that a man stole an officer's gun during a struggle. the officer fired on a man although he was not hit, one officer eventually struck the suspect with his car, that man was treated for his injuries. >> now this happened at the mason hammer restaurant on washington avenue sunday night. workers there told the police that the man was acting weird and paranoid and the police said try to question him and he began to struggle, the police pays him and then cuffed him. emergency personnel rushed the suspect to the hospital where he later died. also, the santa cruz county sheriff's office is investigating the discovery of a woman's body monday afternoon it was found about 100 ft. below a railroad trestle. detectives are investigating whether the woman who appears to be in her 40's fell from the truffle. the woman's

protesters camping out in downtown oakland overnight. they held a demonstration yesterday. there are not leaving. jackie sissel is live in oakland with more. what exactly are they mad at? >>jackie: it is very similar, it is actually a brother protests to the occupied san francisco and occupy wall street. corporate greed, wall street greed, a lot of different causes. as you can see, there are dozens of tents set up out here in front of oakland's city hall in frank a call-up plaza. we have a video from is a day when the protests started. hundreds of people took to the plaza yesterday. they were protesting just about everything imaginable from corporate greed to wall street greed, union causes and as i said, this is pretty much a solidarity protest to the protests that
