involved. rb fladeboe has more on the operation. >>rob: operation garlic press as it is now targeted known and suspected gang members and tied to the illegal narcotics trade. heavily armed teams of state and local law enforcement officers served warrants at a home in east gilroy and at some 27 different locations across five counties. there have been 115 arrests, 27 in gilroy alone, all of them either gang members, career criminals or violent felons. since at a news conference, the state attorney said the operation has put a major dent in the local drug trade. >> we have seen an incredible trend in terms of tracking--trafficing up i- 955.
