>>mark: we have a developing story, a wild fire burning in the hills to the northeast of downtown napa. it continues to burn this morning. here is the scene with firefighters in the area. 90 a. have burned, strong winds fueling the fire. one house has been destroyed. there are evacuate since in the area near serta canyon road. jackie sissel is live with the latest. >>jackie: i am at silverado trail at soda canyon. the fire is 1 mi. up the road from where i am at. >>jackie: this is video of the white house that has already been destroyed.--

this is video of the only house that has already been destroyed. i spoke with a fire official who said they believe the fire is 50 percent contained. it is difficult overnight to get a real guesstimate of what the situation looks like, until they get daylight. the big thing is, they're hoping that the wind cooperates. that is what drove this fire and what caused this house on loma vista to bird. the only thing left of this house is the foundation. there are plenty of fire crews in there waiting for daylight. firefighters are expecting to see higher winds as the morning goes on. it is a developing

situation. if we get more information, we will pass that along. >>mark: james fletcher has more on the weather. >>james: we knew that potential was there for fires. a red flag warning in effect until 9:00 a.m., that is a two hour extension. the north bay hills, the east bay hills and the diablo range, the areas in red is where we see the conditions are right for fire to spread quickly before if we have winds gusting to 30 mi. per hour in some of the higher areas. the humidity right now is to the 15% level. really dry out there. we will be watching and waiting to see with the current conditions are. at this point, 9:00 a.m. looks to be the time when the winds expire. 80 mi. per hour

one southbound, marin county is building in a volume. a check in the east bay starting with the ride on 80 head was bowed, still a good drive time from hercules to berkeley. westbound 24, there are no delays to the caldecott tunnel. the ride on 580 westbound looks good. there ride out to the castro valley is problem free. south a traffic, no problems for 101, to 80, 17, 85 and the north bay ride is still easy. 101 southbound is delay free through marin county. >>darya: another developing story out of the east bay. occupy oakland protesters are launching a general strike this morning. will tran is live at 14th and the broadway. we are a couple of hours away from most of the

>>darya: new this morning, investigators say that the russian jet that crashed killing 44 people including an entire for factional ice hockey team in its ads and turf was caused by the pilot. fear is video from shortly after the crash happened. the aviation committee looked at the crash and said that the crash occurred because one of the pilots accidentally activated the brakes during takeoff and that lifted the jet to sharply. that caused it to crash. the plane crashed into the bank's of

the river near moscow. one of the worst aviation disasters. the dead included 36 players, coaches and staff. the warsaw international airport in poland remains closed following this dramatic emergency landing. take a look at the jet touching down. it started in new working jersey but landed on its belly in warsaw because of the landing gear failed to open. no one hurt. everyone is fine. the pilot is being hailed as a hero. the airplane does still remain on the tarmac in warsaw at the intersection of the two main runways. the air corps will remain closed until tomorrow. they just laid down a massive amount of foam so that the jets could slide on its belly.
