twitter feeds. >>james: let us talk about the weather, it is cold out there and once again a day when we could very well break records this morning. good morning erica. we're close to breaking those temperatures. we will drop by a good three to five decrees so we will keep you updated on that route the morning. add to take a live look at conditions drop the golden gate bridge it is a clear shot but we are contending with some patchy fog through the north bay. the good news is that will clear out as we head into the afternoon. we had some rain expected later on in the week and i want to show you the temperature is right outside the door. this is what everyone is talking about this morning. it's already 34 degrees in santa rosa, 37 degrees for those in a lot. 49 degrees for

downtown san francisco is one of the warmer spots this morning. we could actually break some low temperature records. santa rosa is expected to get down to 32 degrees that could be the record that was set back in 2009, hayward could be their record as well back from 2010. take a look at san francisco low is expected to be at 37 degrees this morning, the old record was 46. we will keep our eyes on that and where the temperatures will go for the rest of the day. your future forecast is set up for a a.m., there is a lot of purple on your screen indicating temperatures in the '30's particularly up into the north bay. as we advance your car culture lunchtime, all of that blue indicates temperatures in the '50s and we are squeezing out some '60s

through out the heart of the bay, by the afternoon you will see a lot more green on your screen indicating mid- 60's for the bay area. we do have an area of high pressure system over us. that will keep conditions mile for the most part stretching in the next couple of days. we have a system out in the pacific expected to impact us in the next couple of days. what does that mean? well, check out the seven day forecast for yourself. thursday night into friday morning we have a chance for some rain, the temperatures are actually in the fifties for the most part. it could get down to the low forties for some of the in and lows.--inland lows. once again, temperatures will be in the fifties for the most part and low '40's for the inland those--lows. as he take a look at traffic this morning

no high spots to tell you about. we have a couple lanes closed until 5:00 a.m., but no impact on your commute. we secret conditions at the toll plaza flats. the drive time is about eight minutes from foot the foot of the maze. we have no special traffic advisor to tell you about and no problems getting to the bridge from highway 101 or even direction of the freeway. as we take a live look at the golden gate bridge south bound. there are no delays to speak of in a lot of space in between cars. this drive is under 23 minutes coming out of bottle towards the city limits this morning. as we turn our attention to the traffic maps i want to show you what is going on. highway 4, your ride out and not towards pittsburgh there is a little yellow on the screen that indicates speed at about 45 mi. per hour there. south bound 680 moves well through the san ramon valley. we had some overnight construction

along the shore freeway between albany and the powell st. exits, but it looks like that wrapped up early. >>justine: new and graphic youtube deal that involved an occupy oakland protesters. scott campbell says that this video shows him being shot with a rubber bullet by the police. he is now speaking out about what happened he said the police had no reason to open fire. >> there were several protesters behind me but i was a little bit separated from the rest of the crowd. there was really absolutely nothing going on. >>justine: here is a picture of his alleged injuries which he said came from the police. he says once he gets better he does plan on joining those protest again, there is no response from police on his claims. >>james: we have more on the jail the veteran that was arrested after last week's general strike in oakland.

we have a mug shot of the man in question. he was a veteran of the wars in my rock and afghanistan. his family and friends allege that he did not get the medical care they needed after his arrest. we spoke with officials in the unlimited counter --the alameda county sheriff's office and he spoke differently. they say they have the video to prove it. >> you can the that the video and see when he came in, he was walking and talking and appeared to be fine. when he appeared to be in distress there was a deputy there, he bent over and tried to offer his assistance. he patted him on the back and gave them some encouragement, he stayed with him and call the nurse. the nurse arriving here refuse medication and then the deputy comes back and says we will move you to another cell, let me help you up. that is his hand, he helps them up and then the guy is able to walk

out. as his condition deteriorated in the jail, called an ambulance for him, we escorted them in and we escorted him out and got him all the way to highland so to say that we offered no help whatsoever and no medical care that is a lie. >>reporter: we did reach out to him, but our calls were not returned. >>justine: this morning at 4:08 a.m. there are some weather-related problems running up at the oakland occupy kitka encampment. trash s piling up, people have reported excessive drug use and even violence. one man told us that he is moving his items out of the camp because in his words, things are getting out of control. >> we have a large homeless population that is here that we are attempting to deal with. it had spent a

problem. i am in non-violent person and i do not want to participate in any violence and there has been some violence going on. i have seen fistfights and verbal agreements. >>justine: we were there yesterday as one man was incapacitated but we're not sure why, as you can see he did get some medical attention. >>james: as we take a view of the bay, so far so good i will tell you it is ready cold out there this morning we could break our record lows for this november 8th. we will have more coming up on that.

>>erica: the morning and welcome back to kron4 news. we are taking a look at our mount tancam. as you had outside the door make sure that you are aware there is a lot of fog near the coastline but we will see a gradual clearing as we get closer to the 10:00 a.m. hour. as we head into the afternoon we will see mostly sunshine around the bay area. in fact, temperatures are about two degrees warmer compared to what they were yesterday. temperatures will be in the upper 50s in his 60s for your inland areas. as we head into the overnight hours we will see partly cloudy conditions but the calm wind is averaging about 6 mi. per hour. we have 34 degrees currently up and santa rosa. it is a chilly start to the morning we are on tap to set some records as we head closer to

sunrise. it looked like santa rosa and place a decade in concord could actually break records that were in effect for the past decade. it is currently 39 degrees at half moon bay, and 38 in downtown san francisco. it looks like we are contending with the low '40's down in the south bay. so, as we check out where these numbers will go into the afternoon by 3:00 p.m., neighborhood by neighborhood it looks like we are working with a very tight range. it looks like we may get in the mid-60s down into the south bay. we have 65 los gatos and up into the north bay you will see plenty of low 60s here. >>erica: i do want to remind everyone that we are seeing those cool temperatures and as a result a frost advisory is in effect it is in effect until 9:00 a.m. this morning

and what that means is that we have seen temperatures in the upper 20's and low 30's near freezing and some freezing for several hours. we do recommend that you bring your pets and plants indoors as we head to the next couple of hours. temperatures will actually be moving upward as we head into the next couple of days. we were expecting 63 degrees for today hitting a high of 68 for tomorrow. we have 69 expected for thursday but on friday will have a lot of changes in the forecast. the wet weather will more than likely stretch into the weekend. we will see scattered showers and temperatures and high in the fifties and low '40's for in the nose as the checkout traffic this morning the hot spots to tell you about in fact it is a pretty nice ride on the approach to the bay bridge toll plaza we have no problems or delays and no metering lights to deal with. despite some overnight construction between the

>>james: we are back with some national news, several people were hurt when a tanker carrying thousands of gallons of natural gas exploded on the new jersey turnpike. this happened about 30 mi. northwest of manhattan and a small town there. the truck exploded after it crashed into the minivan. investigators said this one are still trying to figure out what caused the accident in the first place. aftershocks are rattling central oklahoma days after a record-setting earthquakes hit the state. this is video of some of the damage done after saturday's earthquake. and these five tremors were reported again yesterday, the strongest happened about 50 mi. east of oklahoma city so far

rosa, 36 in napa and fairfield, and we see pretty much upper 30's and low 40's throughout the entire bay area this morning. we are running a good one to three degrees cooler than yesterday. the good news is that will warm up by a few degrees compared yesterday. oakland will max out at 61 degrees, hayward at 62 degrees, we are looking at 65 degrees in los gatos. all of the valleys to the east you will be a good degree or two warmer than you were yesterday. >>james: again, we still have a week pressure system but at least it is still there. we have a lot going on in the pacific and that will begin to impact us. thursday night going into friday morning it looks like we will squeeze out a decent
