as we look first at the ride on interstate 80 headed westward from hercules to berkeley, still just a 16-18 minute drive time with no delays. walnut creek traffic looks good. in the south bay there are no delays on 101, to 80 or 85. the north bay commute is still delay free. now, let's get a check on whether. >>erica: it is a cold start to the morning. some locations are right near freezing. you will have to bundle up as you head out the door. house al-awalki 3 forecast, near freezing temperatures into the north bay. upper 30s in the south bay as well. as we head into the afternoon, plenty of sunshine. temperatures in the upper 60s for most locations. we do have

problems with heavy, dense fog. take a look at your ride along 101 through santa rosa and petaluma. the warrants indicated visibility less than a mile. there is dense fog and colder temperatures. it looks like oakland is the warmest spot around the bay area. as we take its orders into the afternoon we will see a tight range of mostly 60s, squeezing out some 70's in a redwood city and mountain view. upper 60s seem to be the story in the south bay. in the north bay, temperatures will stay in the mid-60s. 65 seems to be it, no..
