your day with us here on kron4. let's talk about their rain that is moving in. we have not seen a system like this in quite a while. now. the good news is, we will remain dry in most communities. in the north bay you could see scattered showers. right here, looking at downtown san francisco, dry conditions. we saw low

clouds and patchy fog forming overnight. a chance of rain this afternoon and a wet weekend. cut your temperatures outside the door are currently in the 40's and 50's. as we had closer to summarize, if you will see more '30's.--as we had closer to summarize you will see more 30's. here is a look at your expected highs. oakland is a warmer spot coming in at 53. as we look at the satellite, a little bit of fall into the south bay and dance, patty fog into the north bay. that could result in hazardous driving conditions. certainly be aware of that as you get on the road this morning. into the afternoon, mostly cloudy conditions and temperatures similar to yesterday. it will be a little bit colder.

>>erica: of cold front is funneling in from the pacific northwest and it will move southward. we could see rain on tap in the north bay. the good news is it will not be complete washout. the heavier rain starts saturday night heading into sunday. we could get some pretty significant rainfall and coastal communities as we head towards monday and tuesday. more wet weather stretching into thanksgiving. in the traffic department, i do not have any hot spot. your approach to the bay bridge has been quiet since i have it here if traffic is moving well from all three approaches.

this comes after zuccotti park was cleared out by authorities. >> the movement is not for nothing and i do not think it will stop now. >> we are regrouping and getting our infrastructure fact in order. >>james: protesters hope to breach wall street which has made the frozen zone with heavy police presence. they then fled into what city hall and across the brooklyn bridge. they will be headed to a major subway hubs to build additional support.

>>justine: protesters in the bay area are making their voices heard. 95 demonstrators stormed a bank of america branch, charles clough for shows us what happens. >>charles: hundreds of protesters stormed into the lobby of the bank of america building in california. the clerks and staff were caught off guard. they took over a large section of the lobby. about a half an hour later, to san francisco police department officers warned demonstrators that they would be arrested if they did not leave. it was apparent that many inside had no intention of going anywhere but to jail. they waited for police to move in. the police did move in around 3:00 p.m.. they began entering the building and forest. protesters tried to

>>james: coming from the university of cal berkeley campus, we have a right police in this live shot. around 4:00 a.m. police officers from the university of california berkeley arrived in a raid. removed protesters that had set up the occupy cal encampment. early this morning, they broke up the encampment and it moved protesters from the

the >>jackie: right now people from the campus are found. there are clearing debris that was left over from the early morning raid around 3:30 a.m.. police came in and removed the encampment that had been set out for 24 hours. there were two arrests made. there are still police out here in there right gear. it was a relatively peaceful. as i said, there were only two arrests. we are being told that the campus will allow

>>justine: we are watching what is happening in new york as the occupy wall street movement is on the move. zuccotti park in new york has now been cleaned up. police moved in earlier this week in and sit down the encampment that was set up for two weeks. this marks the anniversary of the occupy wall street movement. demonstrators plan to take over wall street, subways and end with a rally near city hall. the video is showing us what happened as police arrested dozens of protesters as they took down the in demand. today's march will mark two months since the occupy movement began. police are preparing to deal with a crush of people. some 500 protesters are making their way towards wall street. we will keep our eyes on this. i am also

today will be light in nature and scattered. you could be in an area that does not have any rain at all. tomorrow, bay area wide light rain. chances of showers on friday. another system could bring us rain saturday and sunday. wednesday and thursday we could have a wet holiday. stay tuned, we'll keep an eye on that. >>george: we have been enjoying a pretty quiet ride. we are not tracking any hot spots. on the bay bridge, the westbound ride looks pretty good. it is a little heavier than we have seen over the last couple of days but no problems reported on the upper deck.

it is still uneasy 9 minute drive time. the san mateo bridge coming across highway 92 from 880, you are problem free. no problems reported across the stand. on the golden gate bridge, we have a smooth conditions and a little bit of fog. no problems for the commute northbound or southbound. in the east bay as we look at the ride on highway 1 01 westbound looking at the commute from hercules to berkeley, the drive time is still at about 16 minutes. the south bay freeways are still very light. north bay traffic is smooth on 101 from the county line to the golden gate bridge. the time

eureka we have a band of rain moving its way south. it is expected to approach the north bay thing by 3:00 p.m.. future cast 4 has won pot of light rain in the north bay and will state light and scattered for the remainder of the day today and into the evening. friday is a different story. more rain by 9:00 a.m. and more scattered showers that will be light in nature but widespread by 2:00 p.m. tomorrow. it will stay that way throughout the afternoon. we will hold on to the wet weather as we head into the weekend. third the rain intensified as we head into sunday morning. light-moderate rain.

we are without delay on 85, 17, 87, 101 and 280. in the north bay or delay free as well. there are still no problems for public transit. bart is running on time this morning without delay. >>justine: the number of people applying for unemployment fell last week to the lowest level since april. weekly applications dropped by 5000 to the seasonally adjusted 388,000. this is the fourth decline in five weeks. >>darya: a san jose police captain has been named to the new chief of police for redwood city. he has worked on this and as a police force for more than 25 years here if people take over as the redwood city police chief next month. he has been active in the san jose
