right now they are clearing the steps. we spoke with a public information officer who told us what would happen later today. >> the issue has been the legal encampment. we support people's right to express free speech and exercise rights to the first amendment but we want to make sure that we do so within policy. the in catmints would be legal. >>jackie: the plaza is still a land with police officers. no one is being allowed in the plaza as we speak. there is no indication of when the cleanup will be finished,

morning. there is not too much activity of any kind whether it is protests or police activity. >>justine: we can see the police are ready to make arrests. their motorcycles are lined up on the side. this is happening right near wall street. the demonstrators are trying to prevent investors from getting to work today. the occupy wall street protesters are planning to take over the city's transportation hub for what is being called occupy the subway. they want to march over the brooklyn bridge and ended the day with a rally on city hall. the police department says that they are for fear for these disruptions. there is a mass amounts of people and debris on the streets. we will

system, these two schools, teachers from around the system are coming in to offer support. they feel like they want to get a message to the chancellor that they are not getting there just dues and that they are owed a wage increase. the school is shut down. this is the area that is one of the main entrances to the campus. as you can see the picketing has already begun. a police van just showed us. the police

just moved on. there does not seem to be any police presence so far. >>mark: a big rolling expected in the same-sex marriage battle. the california supreme court is expected to rule at 10:00 a.m. on whether the state law allows sponsors to appeal the physician-- decision. this comes after is schwarzenegger and jerry brown who were the main defendants refused to appeal. if the state high court allows the appeal, supporters will be able to challenge the ruling. if not, the ruling will stand.

southbound from nevada to the golden gate bridge. >>justine: we are getting the last pictures of the ongoing situation in new york city were occupy protesters have not taken over the financial district. you can see the police in a late year, they are outside of the stock exchange. they're trying to prevent protesters from going inside at this moment. this is that picture from of of showing us protesters and police. third police have also made of dozens of arrests this morning. they are wearing all of their right gear.

there are reports that protesters are resisting arrest in and attacking police. we will monitor the situation. a swarm of people being met by police. this is a part of a national occupy move mandate. there are plans to take over subways and march over the brooklyn bridge, ending with a protest on city hall. we are also watching the occupy moving here in the bay area. these are pictures from early this morning. police in riot gear moved in and took down the tents that were set up near a small hall the tents are now gone. the occupy demonstrators have moved out of that area but they are not completely standing down. the police are just

multiple agencies moved in. many of those officers were involved in the occupy oakland encampment removal. they came in and started removing tents. you can see the entire plaza is basically shut down. there is still a perimeter of police officers in riot gear. the hope is that they will be able to clean off the area in front of sprawl all and the entire clause and to reopen it within an hour. they're hoping around 7:30 a.m.. third they anticipate that protesters will be back and they will allow them to combat as long

criminal charges. the lawyer for sandusky says he expects that some victims will come forward saying that the sexual assault did not occur. a police chief says that his department did not received any reports from this and state graduate assistant who testified to the grand jury that he saw jerry sandusky rating a boy who appeared to be 10 or 11 years old in the team showers in 2002. mike mccurry wrote in an e-mail to a friend that he did speak with police about what he witnessed but he did not specify what police department. a school spokeswoman says the campus police do not have any craft of a report. we're back with more in effect of minutes. for
