department. there are flowers and stuffed animals. people from the community have been coming out here all day long in the leaving behind in their thoughts, assuring words with one another and hugging one another in support of this fallen officer. earlier in the day, police spoke about losing someone so close to them. >>officer: most of our people are professionals. they do their jobs and it is tough for many of us. both especially for his family. luckily, we have plenty of help. >> he came to work every day. he had the option to work anywhere he wanted. he chose to work in a country club kress, that is the area he dedicated his entire career to. he cared about the citizens of that
