department. there are flowers and stuffed animals. people from the community have been coming out here all day long in the leaving behind in their thoughts, assuring words with one another and hugging one another in support of this fallen officer. earlier in the day, police spoke about losing someone so close to them. >>officer: most of our people are professionals. they do their jobs and it is tough for many of us. both especially for his family. luckily, we have plenty of help. >> he came to work every day. he had the option to work anywhere he wanted. he chose to work in a country club kress, that is the area he dedicated his entire career to. he cared about the citizens of that

widespread than the rain. we see some areas of more moderate snow fall. the wind is still continuing so driving conditions as mentioned are not the greatest right now. if you're heading up this week he may want to put off until tomorrow because most of the day will be dry. we have a few inches of snow in the sierra. temperatures a warm- up on sunday afternoon. you will see clear skies into monday as well. we will have more on the holiday forecast as it gets closer to thanksgiving. >>pam: a suspect has been arrested in the shooting of a vallejo police officer. this is video from the scene where a bank of america branch at screen town center was robbed. this led vallejo police officers to pursue the suspect until the 100 block of janet street. that is where

officer jim capoot was shot and killed while chasing the suspect on foot. >>reporter: this isn't a photograph of the suspect in custody for the shooting death of the vallejo police officer jim capoot. >> of this suspect was arrested just moments after the shooting itself in a 100 block of janet's by responding officers. he was in possession of a handgun. >>reporter: the police officer said that investigators are no longer certain for a suspect in thursday's bank robbery and the subsequent killing of officer capoot. vallejo police say in addition to the bank robbery been captured on surveillance video, the 19 year veteran officer also had one of these cameras inside of his patrol car recording the pursuit.

because the police officer, officer capoot was a coach at that high school. today i went to the high school and they are certainly morning. the flags were flown at half staff for the fallen police officer jim capoot. the principal said it has been a tough day. >> it has been released solemn and the kids are going about their day. the coach was a leader he was someone that all the kids looked up to an appearance look up to and our community looked up to. >>reporter: the students they reminiscing about the coach and his tragic that is what everyone is talking about. >> we all loved him, he worked at our school for many years. we all love him and miss him about my heart goes out to his family because i think he has three kids that is what everyone is saying and i hope they just grow up i do not know how they will live without a father. >>reporter: then there were
