weekend his family went back east to attend a special ceremony as well as bring his body back home. as they arrive back to the bay area there were about 2000 people in the streets offering their support for the family going through this very trying time. in danville i am teresa estacio with kron4 news. >>reporter: in san francisco you can see the picasso drawing that was stolen in july is once again hanging in the gallery that it was taken from. the gallery owner says he plans to keep it displayed in this spot and that it is no longer for sale but after it has been recovered from--by the police it got offered $100,000 more than the previous price tag. the man accused of stealing the artwork was sentenced to 16 months in jail. >>reporter: this is the

a little fun with him on the history of vern glenn. and jerry does join us we should send you are no relation to the jerry sandusky of penn state. but i can only imagine what your life has been like since the tragedy broke. >> it is like being a truck driver named charles manson and has been unbelievable. i have discovered a parallel universe when you have the same name of someone else that is accused of committing heinous crimes. luckily my parents killed my name with a "g"but many people on social media cannot make that distinction so i get a lot of hate mail every day. >>gary: talking football is this a big deal in baltimore? i just mentioned this to vern glenn. the 49ers have been hungry for 10 years, baltimore has been good for a while. is this a big deal thursday night in your neck of the woods?

>> it is huge because the ravens just reclaimed control their own destiny. the ravens have never had a home playoff game. they have never played at home under john harbaugh and the playoffs. that has been the focus this year. they believe if they can car out a path to indianapolis through baltimore they had a much better shot of getting there. in order to hold on to the ability to control their own destiny it has to be john harbaugh winning instead of jim harbaugh. >>gary: part of the act is that jim can be a little prickly. how is john? >> john is easy to deal with but like any coach you have to know when the tension level is high. john has a threshold of how many time he has been asked the same question. by the time i do his radio pregame

interview on thursday evening he will probably be really tired of this question. but when you have a name like gerry sandusky, you are uniquely qualified to ask the same question over and over and over again. [laughter] >>gary: israel is going to play on thursday? >> i do not know. obviously they want him in the lineup. when he did not play last sunday, yesterday was the first time since john harbaugh became the coach that he did not have him in the lineup. it is more interesting when you have ray lewis in the middle of one team and patrick lewis on the other. their plane resembles each other on the field. the ravens know that they are a better team at home or on the rolls with ray lewis. >>gary: are around these parts, harbaugh is getting a majority of the credit and rightfully so, but from

3,000 mi. away is there a player or to who you think are stars and must be stopped for the ravens to win? >> i think that vern davis is the first guy that you should look at. they are all the same guys who had and that is why from 3,000 mi. away as jim harbaugh was getting all the credit. he has figured out how to get the most out of the guys. the ravens are a defense to stop first and foremost. you have to make to the titans deny to the ball in the red zone. alex smith likes to go to his tight end in sight of the red zone. i think those of the two things you have to do defensively against the 49ers. all offensively, good luck, that is a great defense that you are bringing to baltimore. i think you may want to look at the field goal kickers because i suspect it will come down to one of those guys. >>gary: when you first

spotted vern glenn some 25 years ago did you think that he would make it big and become a hero in san francisco? >> obviously you mean big facetiously right?
