downtown san francisco, roughly 60 degrees. there is a small front pushing through eureka, it could slide down announce that santa rosa gets' a sprinkle this morning, but we are not too confident in that. the bigger than is the cold front that will move through our area on wednesday. we will get some showers in the morning in early afternoon in a sense of the cold front, but the main rain will run through in the evening. by 10:00 p.m. the rainbows bay area wide and we will continue to the overnight hours into thursday morning. beforcost

>>george: the golden gate bridge looks good for high 101. thought of it crashed, but volume is up a bit but still below normal for the south down 101. in the east bay, an accident reported westbound from on highway 24. has the potential to turn into a hot spot. debris was reported in the lanes. we tried that and see the backs of traffic through the walnut creek interchange.

could affect you. call ahead and answer the check with your carrier and give yourself plenty of time. >>mark: a great guy. justin and a vigil held tonight for this lanes vallejo police officer, the 19 year veteran was shot and killed on thursday in the line of duty. he was on foot pursuit for a man suspected of robbing a bank of america branch when according to police the suspect turned around and shot the officer. the vigil is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the good samaritan missionary baptist church in vallejo. the man accused of shooting and killing him has decided to delay entering his plea during his first court appearance yesterday. in addition to the murder charge, and robert smith is facing for additional enhancement allegations, two of those include murdering an off-duty police officer in order to avoid his love

for arrest. his arraignment was postponed until next week. that gives the public defender more time to review the case. smith could face the death penalty. 6:24 a.m., we will drive back.

roof camera in san francisco. sunny skies on the way. we are seeing clouds but at least for now they are not rain clouds. >>james: here is a live look out of the south bay. i noticed earlier our camera was bouncing around a little bit. the visibility on 101 for san jose is pretty good. that cannot be said for other portions of the bay area, primarily interested in the as the head towards sacramento. the cloud cover is the north bay and in the east bay near the delta. visibility is down to under a mile. i five through the central valley, be careful if your holiday plans to give that direction. the yourself extra time because traffic is slow. dow the dense fog should burn off by 11:00

p.m. and. in terms of temperatures, mostly 40 degree weather with a couple of areas showing up in the very high 30's. fairfield for instance, one of those locations where we are seeing 37-38 degrees. by 2:00 p.m., a future cast 4 is showing a screen indicating 60 degree weather. we are looking for a handful of directions to be right there at 61, 62 and 63 degrees. today is a fairly mild day with plenty of sunshine. we cool off considerably toward the pm. >> this is a system we are watching, it is bringing rain to washington, oregon and northern portions of california near eureka. this is a system that will come into play for us on wednesday. we will get early morning showers and advanced the cold front. it will push through on wednesday. stay
