around the bay area. as we move closer to the afternoon high, you'll see some green on your screen is best for the shore and down into the south bay places like mt. view and san jose could get close to 70 degrees. your seven day around the bay forecast shows morning fog on tap for the rest of the day today. as we head into wednesday looks like a big story is the strong and gusty wind. friday, saturday, and said they will see a lot of sunshine and temperatures sitting in the low 60s. as for traffic we do not have any hot spots will we do have fog advisor to tell you about. the chp has issued a fog advisory for your ride this morning out of oakland into san francisco. a live look at the san mateo bridge does not show much. you can see a few tell like on the right side of your screen making their way out of foster city and the golden gate bridge is a fool of fog this

morning. there is a lot of space in between cars and hopefully we will keep it that way as we progressed out the morning. we do have a dense fog advisory issued for not only the venetian bridge but the benecia as well peripatetic >>james: we will give you an update on the search for a man that intentionally ran down a firefighter with his car. the victim is still in critical condition in hospital. the suspect, you can take a good look at his face he is believed to be in his late teens or early 20s. >>reporter: in this surveillance video and side of the jack in the box you can see a young man at the counter in a white t-shirt. he is suspected of attempted murder. here is another picture of him taken by a witness early thursday morning before he reportedly ran over the 29 year old

albert bertal and drove away. police said all started here at this jack and the box, and employees of the suspect in an argument with bertall that escalated into a fist fight. the witness that did not want to speak on camera said she was i concerned about the fight because they are pretty common during late- night and early-morning hours. the employees said the place was packed with customers and some took photographs of the fight including this one where appears that someone is holding back the suspect. eventually the fight was broken up and bertall who was believed to live in the area want down tonight in gary. according to witnesses and surveillance video at the shell gas station he hit bertall with his black suv and fled the scene at 2:45 a.m.. bertall was rushed to the hospital with a life-

out of southern california this the scene where occupy l.a. at this point now is in direct conflict with the police in the street. you can see the police officers in riot gear. they have been encamped in a park near city hall. the mayor of los angeles gave them a deadline of midnight to vacate the park. they said if not the police would move in at 4:00 a.m., 4:00 a.m. has come and gone. no police have into the park just yet but this is them surrounding the park dressed in their riot gear. earlier this morning all the protesters were out in the street so technically they were in compliance so police are now mobilizing and police had been standing back some of just milling about but now they're getting more organized and forming a human line of police officers. this is reminiscent of what we saw in oakland not too long ago were the police surrounded

the encampment. that is what we are seeing play out in los angeles. we're watching and waiting to see what plays out with this as occupy l.a. began to stand toe to toe with the police. we have more on this to come. >> driver stan out of the car and step out. >>stanley: you are looking at a routine traffic stop by the police officers. this is in san mateo. i did not to happen to roll up and see this happening to show you how i got your we have to go back a while. in these are delineators put up by caltrain in san mateo. there were put there to prevent drivers from crossing the road. as you can see, some drivers just to go around
