the thefts took place in october and november. will durant is joining us from a lucky store in fremont. he has an update on the thieves and how they were able to do this. >>will: it was pretty slick of them and pretty easy. it's you go get your groceries, you go to the counter, use weicker card and you think that the store is getting the information. in this case, the thieves put in a device to get your information. if they-jesse duke used your pin number, they got that information as well. in all, there or 80 victims, there could be more. not just customers but also employees who made purchases, they were robbed. it was employees that got management involved. it happened at this self check out one. they are becoming very popular. we do not know

colder overall than it was yesterday. jackie sissel is out in the cold taking a look at temperatures. are they getting up or down? >>jackie: it is about the same actually. between 35- 37 degrees. when you go outside this morning, you will notice that it is a very clear and cold, that is the first thing i noticed when i walked outside earlier this morning. i had to scrape my windshield to free it of ice. there are freeze warnings in the north bay. with our 10-15 minutes away from the sun coming up. temperatures will go down a little bit.

the golden gate bridge continues to live good in both directions northbound and southbound for. there is no fog of the deck either. it looks like a nice and smooth ride across the golden gate bridge so far this morning. on highway 4 a little bit of a different story, slow traffic on westbound highway 4 towards the will of passed. in san jose is not too bad northbound 101 is looking good through the downtown area. we are delay free. we are starting to see a little bit of slow traffic on southbound 101 as you get out of novato towards highway 37. after that things will loosen up making your way towards the golden gate bridges. >>mark: if you stop at lucky supermarkets, check your bank account immediately. dozens of customers had their accounts had digit.

the thieves hid 23 lucky stores from petaluma to union city and san jose as well as a millbrae and fremont. the thieves took the debit card information in october and november, two months of time. will tran is joining us now from a lucky store in fremont with more on how the thieves were able to hack into the credit-card information. >>will: it was pretty easy. it went to places like this fremont store. when you go to swap information and clear in your number, you leave the store and they get that information in go shopping. you have no idea and did you get the bill. there were many stores that were hit. stores and of all daly city, foster city, sunnyvale, santa clara that is just to name a few. they also hit up a store and
