>>darya: is another frigid day. here's is a live look at the golden gate bridge and below that, the james lick in san francisco. things are mostly clear. on the left, the big story is the temperatures. right now everyone for the most part is in the '30's. a little bit better than yesterday, but not much of the difference, it is cold. >>mark: it is just as freezing as it was yesterday. this is our roof camera shots. earlier this morning, you could see the lights as live look downtown. it is now obscured by the fog. we are getting reports of a dense fog. it

is kind of dance in pockets. a a little bit foggy and cold. here is more on the cold. tran temperatures are near freezing in santa rosa, at freezing in napa and below freezing in fairfield. like darya said, everyone except for a couple of locations are in the thirties. a frigid start once again as you make your way around the bay. this afternoon, temperatures will be a lot better with upper 50s and low 60s across the board.

police officers confiscated his tent. around 5:00 a.m., he decided to come back with another tents. within a few minutes, a couple of police officers detained over very calmly and spoke to him and told him, you have to take down the tents. you can sleep on it, but each euclid it up as a structure, we have to enforce the no tents policy. that is exactly what they did. the gentleman put up a little bit of resistance at first but not to the point where he was arrested. he did not put up a fight or run from the scene. he folded up his tent is laying on it now. i asked the office of the difference between sleeping in a tent for a sleeping bag, he said

according to what they are enforcing, if you put up eight hand it is considered a structure. a structure at this time is not allowed. >>justine: this just in, some new unemployment numbers, weekly unemployment applications have reached a nine month low. the jobless claims went down much more than expected to 381,000. as we have been saying, job applications need to go below 375,000 to consistently show that there is some sort of decline in the unemployment rate. we will take a break and be right back.

>>mark: incredibly, no one was injured. >>darya: and oregon state football player from richmond has died. he was playing basketball on campus yesterday when he collapsed. school officials say the 19 year-old was 6 ft. 4 in., three of the 17 lbs., a defensive tackle. the university says that the football coach was off campus on time recruiting, 6:11 a.m., we're back with more in a couple of minutes. thanks

>>james: we are seeing fog at the golden gate bridge and in the east bay, reports of dense fog. this morning, antifog and it temperatures primarily in the '30's. this afternoon, the son will be out, warming as up to upper 50s and low 60s. like it was last night, we will keep things clear and chill things down as we had overnight. we had an earthquake in the bay area early this morning, well to the north of santa rosa. the magnitude of 3.3. a couple of minutes past that we had a 2.5 magnitude earthquake. temperatures are right near the freezing mark. fairfield

fine. thomas kelly recently publicly accused fine of touching him inappropriately entered its third hotel room when he was 13. authorities are investigating the allegations. he is the third man to come forward, two additional voice came forward. >>darya: jerry sandusky is behind bars for a second time facing new charges in the sex abuse allegations after two more alleged victims have come forward including one who says he screamed in vain for help while sandusky attacked him in a basement bedroom. these are now the ninth and 10th man who were just little boys when they say they were molested by sandusky. they say that it was a part of his second mile charity for troubled youths that exposed

them to sandusky. his attorney says he is still optimistic. >> gary--jerry is asking what is next. it can get worse, but you have to be qr. and we will be. >>darya: sandusky claims he is not a pedophile. a preliminary hearing is set for next week. sandusky is sitting in a jail cell, unable to pay its $250,000 bail. >>mark: local it is counting down the days until he has to report to prison. he was sentenced to 14 years in prison, he was convicted of 18 counts of corruption including trying to sell or trade president obama is former u.s. senate seat. he will be eligible for early release in about 12 years. >>justine: a terrible school

to-day. it is pretty cold. it's 29 degrees in fairfield. today, more of the same for folks along the interstate 80 corridor. warmer in san francisco. in the south bay, 36 in fremont. pretty much any way you slice it, it is cold once again this morning. the highs this afternoon will look like this. this might look very familiar because the numbers are almost identical to what we had yesterday. the forecast today is not much different. we're in a very tight temperature range between 58 and 62 with

>>james: we're focusing on the weather this morning. this is a view of the golden gate bridge. not long ago we had a big of a fog rolling across the stand. that is not uncommon, reports of a fog on the other bridges as well along with portions of the north bay in the state. residents in pittsburgh reporting 50 ft visibility. 47 thirties are our temperature range. a quick note, we had an earthquake this morning, it was a 3.3 magnitude centered near the geysers. did not last very long. two minutes after that, there was an aftershock of 2.5. sphere very light in nature with minimal shaking. no reports of damage or injury.
