>>darya: said gov. jerry brown says that california will have to make huge the midyear budget cuts to schools and social services. state revenues are $2.2 billion below earlier estimates. the cuts include $100 million to each state funded university. that means about 1 million students will most likely see higher costs for education. there are also cuts to social services. each school district will lose about $80 million. schools will have the option of reducing the school year by seven days. >>mark: in the past two months a 29 year-old has allegedly burglarized 12 locations in san jose
