north koreans are mourning the passing of their leader. >>darya: the funeral is expected to be held on wednesday. in the meantime, other governments are viewing the death with a weary optimism believing it could be destabilizing for the region and an opportunity for a new diplomatic start. a south korean news agency announced that north korea conducted a short range missile tests on the day his death was announced that south korean military officials could not confirm reports. it's south rim military is on high alert. they have remained technically in a state of floor.

cover and fog in the north bay. mild fog near napa visibility is down to under a half mile with general uneasiness over the delta. it looks like 2-5 mi. visibility. temperatures this afternoon will get into the upper 50s in the low 60s. 57 in antioch and livermore. slightly warmer through the san ramon valley. near 60 in san jose. will probably get to 60 in oakland. san francisco is a touch cooler at 56. for the wide view on the satellite shows fairly stable weather kids we have high pressure over the area that should keep most of that activity will to the north. a pretty stable forecast for the week ahead. here is a look at your 7 day around the bay.

shot in the 1200 block of seventh street. police have no suspects in saturday's shootings. foster city police concluded that the death on friday was a homicide. fleas were initially unable to determine a cause of the man to death, they only said that it was it was suspicious. investigators responded to the crime scene and after several hours concluded that the man was killed. this is the first homicide there in six years. >>darya: six men are in custody after police say shots were fired at officers yesterday around 1:15 a.m.. it happened in menlo park. police got there after getting a tip that someone had done. they approached the six men, one of them opened fire. they recovered five guns including two rifles. one of the suspect's
