issue pg&e says that the stadium lights just took that long to cycle back on. >>pam: san francisco mayor ed lee was at last night's game when the lights went out. today he talked about what steps he is taking to help in the investigations. >> obviously we of all experience kind of a national embarrassment for this to happen. group are clear on the phones as early as last evening during the game and after the game and all this morning to make sure that this does not happen again. we expect another playoff game in early january and we will go through some immediate protocols with them oversight from the public utilities commission and our staff. >>pam: the mayor and his number one priority was public safety and fortunately there were no incidents directly related to the outages. will have reaction from the 49ers about the power outages that

is coming up at 6:00 p.m.. >>reporter: now to an active south bay police search after a carjacking suspect lead police on a chase and then carjacking another car. i will use the big board to show how this went down. the police say the suspect is what did for a carjacking in milpitas earlier this month. they say they saw the suspect and try to pull him over this morning and that is right here at near 101 and a capitol expressway intersect. who chased starts here and from there it goes about 2 mi. not that far and in the suspect crashes this car near the intersection here. this was all during rush hour about 8:40 a.m.. from there, cops say the suspect ran into this neighborhood right there and then actually carjacked another car, a toyota from one of the houses on the 200

lot here.--block here. police say this is the guy they're looking for. he was last seen driving a toyota camry. this is video of the scene were the carjacking took place what witnesses they he saw the suspect rammed the stolen vehicle into a police vehicle. >> he knocked down the motorcycle and then took off through that like and he was gone. like he said they stole the neighbor's car, went into an housebroken stole the neighbors car and took off. it is a little scary especially having kids and having to deal with that in this neighborhood i thought all this stuff would be done but is still going

towards philadelphia, new york in areas that we see allowed connecting flights. right now they're not a lot of delays. let us jump out to the south for most of the activity is going right now. we see an area of thunderstorms in louisiana pushing towards mississippi. there is a general threat of thunderstorms in that area as we head to the evening into tomorrow. and there it is right there, see the line of thundershowers pushing through louisiana right now, we have heavier rain expected. ticket the track of this system. a quarter of it is pushing north east and you could see by thursday afternoon it will be over tennessee and then by friday morning pushing very quickly towards a new york and philadelphia. that may be the time when we have to keep our eyes out and the time we see those major airport and hubs for the major airlines affected by some of this heavy rain and possibly even snow. >> all right we are getting

thing we are looking at, when the wire comes down, this circuit will stop service to everyone along there. there are residential customers of ours but yet, in this case candlestick is the only facility that the power was interrupted to. that is the other thing you're looking at. the second is what we are still investigating so far i said these are preliminary investigations, it does not appear to be any fault that we have found so far in either of the circuits. that is something that we are continuing to look at with this. >>pam: pg&e said the lights to about 20 minutes come back on because it simply took that long to the-- rebuilt. about 20 people were arrested for excessive drinking or fighting the three people were arrested for running onto the field during the second power outage. the woman suspected of murdering nursing student

sunday. the boy was practicing with the resort's ski team. he was heading up the chair lift when he slipped out the boy had surgery to relieve pressure on his brain. he is in critical condition and inspectors checked out the chair lift and found no malfunctions. >>pam: and joe louis to see this happen that any resort for any skier or snow border. >> i am nervous and concerned and really feeling for that child. >> my son is 7 years old and there is no way i'll let him go on that lived by himself. even if he was experienced. >> to other boys were on that chair lift when the little boy fail and they did not fall and they were not hurt. >>pam: this weekend, the waves and took out a movie star filming a surf movie at half moon bay. maureen kelly
