be back to work until saturday. according to the nurses of the hospital will lock them out on friday for punitive measures. for today's if you're a patient, you will see replacement nurses to help your needs. according to the hospital they say he should not be concerned. the nurses are well-trained and this is what they do. >> we would hope that they have responsibility and to make sure that the nurses are qualified, the nurses are on strike for only one day. they did not need to bring anyone in. with advanced notice they could take preventive measures for co-sponsored trees and transferring out of patience. >>will: they--we do not know

there. >>jackie: many protesters are still here. the protesters say they are not going anywhere right now. the police had given them a warning yesterday that they have insults and the and to move out of civic center park. then, they moved a few tents and then left the scene. this is the largest of the occupy movement. one protester said he thought the occupy movement would continue in different ways. obviously it is still a developing story. the irony is, we are directly across

since april of 2008. we also had a gross domestic product numbers,. downward for the third quarter. the u.s. economy only grew 1.8%. disappointing earnings from oracle. oracle was down over a 11 percent yesterday and it dragged down the nasdaq. downright disgusted. that is how some workers feel about the stalemate in congress over extending the payroll tax cuts that everyone has been enjoying. if lawmakers did not act by january 1st, 160 americans, anyone who gets a paycheck was 80 percent less of their take- home pay. here are some examples.

a check on traffic with george. >>george: we are looking at a great ride around the bay area. we are not tracking any hot spots or major delays theory if there are no minor incidents either. off we are looking at very light conditions and an easy ride off almost all over the the areas. here is a look at the bay bridge toll plaza. it is a good ride for 80 westbound. the approaches look good. third your ride on the san mateo bridge is the problem free. here is a look at the commute. the right side of your screen is westbound. off the headlights headed towards as art eastbound. an easy trip

from foster city to hayward. for the golden gate bridge, 101, the headlights southbound, there are no problems for coming from or heading to marin county. a look at the traffic maps will show as the speeds around the area. no problems westbound on interstate 84 was found 24 to the caldecott. fill in the south bay, a little bit of slowing between the 280 and 880 interchanges on 101 northbound. that is fairly typical in the usually where the traffic starts to slow. in the north bay, it will a slowing in northern iran coming down from the county line. it does not affect the nevada drive time which is under 25 minutes. >>justine: much more ahead on the kron4 news. we will take a quick break off, here is a live look outside.
