>>jacqueline: there were areas around the north bay and the delta that were really bad this morning as we head into tomorrow we will see areas of fog. fog tracker paints a pretty broad picture we are expecting fog bay area wide. the areas of dense fog look like they will be around, in places like oakland, the delta and the north bay. let us put the fog tracker into motion, the morning commute, by 7:00 the fall has not moved that much. it will be fairly widespread including down in the south bay. through the late morning hours, is scaling back by 9:00 a.m. to the bayshores. i think is a little bit cooler and that it will stick around a little bit longer than that. now san francisco about noon, concord at 11:00 a.m., livermore at 10 and a santa rosa at 11. we will see cloud coverage out there tomorrow, once the fog clears because of the storm that is passing to the north there is no rain expected that will stay well to the north of us.

>>pam: we have a developing story to tell you about. crews are working to fix a water main break. kate is on the scene to give us an update. >>reporter: they're just about to lead asphalt over the 6 in. pipe that burst earlier today. they still do not know what caused the pipe to break the they have been out here all day making repairs and they're just about to finish up in the next hour or so. they plan to have this all patched over in the water will be restored to a couple of the businesses that still do not have water in walnut creek. now, the only business to suffer any damage is the crate and barrel that is it just in back of where this burst. they did have some crews out here accessing the damage, but crate and barrel is the only one with any water damage. as you can see on south main street, they have closed down the street to traffic. there are no cars coming through and there have not been any for some time. there is a little bit of traffic stalling in

pam >> police are on the hunt for to hit and run drivers that killed a man, this happened last night in fremont. police say a light- colored midsize suv to obtain man about 7:30 p.m. and then a car behind the suv ran over the man a second time. both drivers kept going the 56 year-old man was outside the crosswalk when he was hit. a 48 year-old man is behind bars and san leandro accused of firing off illegal fireworks. the malfunction and damaged a home in a car. this happened friday night. a bomb squad was called to the scene the police said the men tried to shoot off a high-power fireworks inside of the big iron tube with a firework exploded sending extract metal into that area. the man is facing charges of felony possession.

with the analysts have said what do you think? >>reporter: it is pretty obvious, he talked about issues today that he is talked about over and over again, some of those are difficult decisions that he made last year with the budget and the difficult decisions that he will likely have this year about budget and pension reform in the future. i talked with political analyst jason mcdaniel from san francisco state university who use the year. he says the governor does have some things going for him as we go to the new year. first of all there is approval of his style of work. he has made some progress with budgeting. your finally, he says there is growing voter approval of his tax and pension reform plan to raise $7 billion. but analysts said the governor has had its problems, the tax measure on governor brown was pushed so hard that it did not go anywhere with republicans and because of the he made major cuts affecting millions of people. it failed. and part of that has
