of violent breaking three women in san francisco's mission district made his court appearance today. maureen kelly was inside the courtroom. >>reporter: spread don't share entered the court room with a somber expression.-- fred dozier into the courtroom with a somber expression. his attorney asked if the case could be held off until friday. these are the charges against him. he faces a sentence of a few hundred years if convicted. about one dozen people showed up to court to support the suspect there refused to speak with the media. he did not enter any plea deal.

>>pam: the three victims in this case are said to be recovering well. a community meeting is set we will take you there live at 6:00 p.m.. and prosecutors continued their case against joseph naso he had a journal be telling alleged assaults of females including minor girls. he faces charges of murder in the unsolved deaths of these for women's. as teresa estacio reports, witnesses testified about finding numerous photographs of naked women in some of them appeared to be dead and have yet to be identified. >>reporter: in wednesday's testimony, the nevada probation officers said they found multiple manakins all over his home in reno. some

were partially dressed with garters and the high 03. they also discovered several guns, ammunition and about $14,000 in cash plus coins. in addition, a rate journal was discovered in a hidden kitchen closet containing graphic detail notes about incidents. for example, an officer testified that one injury talked about an incident on a greyhound bus the entry said she would not listen, took her into the woods. in the afternoon more disturbing details came out. a nevada public safety detective read in other entry into the raped journal. the detective also testified about the numerous photographs discovered saying that the women did not look normal and that many looked dead. he also said that they have been unable to identify all the women in the photographs and

that they're still working on the case. the preliminary hearing continues on thursday. >>reporter: police in oakland are being punished, it is the fallout from this controversy in this is the badge with a piece of tape over a period right there we highlighted it. an active this was filming this officer who was covering his first initial and his last name. this was back on november 2nd. the person filling this ask him why his name was covered the officer did not respond. many see him moving the tape, that is coming up here. an internal investigation followed, the name was exposed, and the officer had been suspended for a month and a lieutenant wong was demoted to sgt for not reporting the incident.

>>pam: we have dan kerman here to tell us what the district attorney has to say tonight. >>reporter: allegations have been filed against the sheriff, right now we can tell you this involves his wife. the district attorney said he would decide whether not to file charges against the mayor of before the end the week. the alleged incident involving the mayor and his wife as he took the oath for office allegedly took place on new year's eve. today the district attorney says that they're treating the allegations seriously and his top concern is the alleged victim. >> in any case of domestic violence is a priority for us because there is so much at stake and obviously the safety and well-being of the alleged victim in this case, we know that there is also a young child. so obviously, this case as well as any other case will be a top priority. i made it clear from the beginning that one of my concerns was the well-

being of leanna lopez and her child. >>reporter: earlier today he told me that the mayor's wife said she feels safe and that she is not afraid of her husband. pam >> so what is the district attorney's office doing? >>reporter: they have confirmed that the wife is being uncooperative so they went to the neighbor to talk with the neighbors and then they reviewed the tape and they went to see if anything happened and if it could be improved without a reasonable doubt. the decision to file charges could come before the end of the week. >>pam: it appears we are not yet felony charges of misdemeanor charges at this point. >>reporter: yes it appears

that way. >>pam: thanks. >>jacqueline: here is a live look outside. today temperatures were in the '60s and they're starting to cool down a little bit. we have 61 degrees in san francisco, 64 down and los gatos. temperatures are really going to start dramatically cooling overnight as we have clear skies and the same weather pattern that we have seen over the past several days. here is a look at the satellite's radar picture with clear skies and storms continue to try well to the north. no rain on tap for the next several days. again, cool temperatures and patty frost in the overnight hours. sunny and mild to warm very similar to what we saw today. we will keep this same pattern going all the way through sunday. that is will see some changes with the possibility of rain into next week. >>pam: coming up, oakland's

>>catherine: occupy wall street is back in business two months after being evicted. this was early this morning, police down the barricades and that is when civil liberties groups complained that they violated city zoning laws. they're still enforcing a ban on camping. three people were taken away in handcuffs for allegedly trying to lie down. the occupy movement have slipped from the headlines, but the rich versus four that has begun to occupy a lot of people's

thoughts, and if you think class divisions are becoming more and more of an issue, you are not alone. >>reporter: three years ago fewer than half of all american said there was a strong conflict between america's rich and poor. now, two out of the people agree in nearly half of them call it very strong. class conflict now tops a list of perceived social tension ahead of illegal immigrants and race. the study's author says the occupy movement has helped to draw attention to the widening income gap. according to u.s. and zero the top 10% held 49% of the country's wealth in 2005. research and by 2009 that the recession in full force and that number rose to 56 to%. the study says that its findings do not necessarily spell trouble for billionaire can dislike republican presidential hopeful mitt romney. but 43

the joint powers authority responsible for negotiating stadium leases with oakland teams. he says make no mistake about it the city will not go solo when it comes to fighting close to $1 billion for a new stadium. >> the team's won a new stadium then they will have to pay to build a facility not use facility or the areas that they're playing in. >>reporter: however he said there is good news for oakland sports fans, new stadium talks are ongoing with the owners of the raiders and the a's. their current leases both expire in 2013. >> we have already talked a couple of times with the a's, and a few times with the raiders. we will continue working to try and achieve the goal of not only keeping them here by making a deal that would be good for everyone. >>reporter: and one of the places the raiders could be headed to play if they leave

the coliseum here in altadena is down the coast to las angeles, the place the raiders called home from 1982 up to 1994. a brand new nfl stadium is being planned for las angeles right in this area. this is the staple center where the lakers play. this is where an nfl stadium will be built is just a matter of who will play in it. have some images of what the venue will look like once they get it and if we take that video, the stadium will be called farmer's field. it will be an open-air facility but that has a roof that can be put on and off for evens that require a shelter. it is a $1.1 billion project the construction will not begin until the nfl team signs of a long-term lease to play the field. groundbreaking will not happen until february of next year at the earliest. and the soonest that the stadium could open for football would be 2016.

>>pam: a rich and family terrified when their car was stolen with their five year old daughter was still in the backseat last night. the richmond police found that car shortly after it was taken. >> yesterday was a very bad day. we parked the car, my wife ran in the bathroom after parking the car on the street from me and i was taking my son out to get inside and my wife finish what she was doing in coming back out to get our other child. the suspects got in the car, they drove around and try to search for this car was a nightmare. it took only two minutes it was that fast. it was like someone was actually waiting. the richmond police department was right here in under four minutes and they got every

available officer in the area, they were searching up and down the street. got the officer car he to the properly about 1 mi. from here. the car was parked my daughter was still inside and she was still asleep in the back. it was close very close. >>pam: the little girl had no idea and still has no idea that she had been kidnapped. one man shot and two other staff outside of a san jose bar. police are searching for the attackers and a motive. >>reporter: this was the scene at two stabbings and one shooting that sent the people to the hospital on wednesday. san jose police say bystander called the police and waved them down guiding them to the crime scene here in this parking lot. it belongs to a karaoke bar here. this was the focal point of the investigation. the police search for suspects in the

lady in chinatown. the interesting thing is that she knows that i am recording her so that she stays in the car. she even starts pulling up but never leaves. she said here for five whole minutes constantly keeping an eye on me so i pretended to leave and lo and behold she's gone and hanging from her mirror at a nice shiny disabled parking plaque. if you look around chinatown just what every single car is sporting a disabled placard. i watched as one driver with a placard and who left only was replaced by another driver with a placard that left. with this disabled placard, the person can park all day absolutely free. and here is the abuse. even with the threat of a $1,000 parking ticket for misuse of a parking placards, getting free parking seems to be
