[music] >>pam: first tonight at 5:00 p.m. a high-speed police chase ends in a deadly crash. police tried to catch a car full of suspected burglars. this is the scene just a short while ago. police say during the chase, the suspect car crashed into another killing the innocent driver. the suspect are now in custody but the investigation is just beginning. a charles clifford joins us live on the scene. roy >>reporter: take a look behind me, you can see the police are still on the scene clear and what is left. what happened basically is that there were two vehicles involved in the crash. from what a car carrying three people was driving at a high rate of

put out hotbox right there. >>reporter: the family will not be displaced, there is no word on what caused the fire. i want to use the big board to flies down to the south bay to san jose and that is where an intense search and rescue operation for a boulder that was stranded overnight while he was the punting happened. the man was rescued this morning several miles from the arena. it all started when he did not come back late last night. his grandparents got worried and called authorities. you can see officials there taking care of the scene. once they made the rescue, the man did not have his cellphone he is an afghanistan war veteran with two purple hearts. we will take a short break and be right back.
