portal. san francisco police were called in to investigate. here is a picture of the suv from the kron4 morning team. as you can see, this was up on the tracks. in response muni was forced to shut down the entire system as emergency teams work to pull the vehicle off the tracks and to inspect the damage. police continue to investigate by interviewing the driver. at 6:30 a.m., buses were called in and writers complain that the lack of communication from me as they struggle to board buses trying to get to their destination. at 7:00 a.m. many workers remain in the tunnel continuing to access the damage in hopes in getting the system up and running again. commuters point out how the intersection is clearly marked with this sign in this one warning drivers not to enter. at 8:30 p.m., the system is back up and running. at 11:00 a.m., the census is the police department announces that it has arrested the driver on three offenses including the why. on the train, you can

[music] >>jacqueline: let us start with a live look from the heavenly ski resort with overcast conditions. the snow is approaching, we will see several feet of snow at these locations by the time we are through. we have a winter storm in warning in effect. let us talk about tomorrow, and that is when a strong wave of snow will come through. we will see up to 8 in. of snow from 7:00 p.m. friday to 10:00 a.m. saturday. we have about one to 3 ft. of snow above 7,000 ft.. we have moderate snow and gusty winds that will make very dangerous driving conditions, chains are required, so keep that in mind. now up to the north bay, through the east bay we have spotty showers in the

peninsula. this will continue to the evening to give it a storm tracker 4. we have plenty of moisture that will stream into the area through the evening. let us go ahead in time this out on the future forecast. into this evening there are showers as i mentioned. by 10:00 a.m. it starts to taper off of a bit.--by 10:00 p.m. it starts to taper off a little bit. now look as we head into friday, you're fighting morning commute is pretty dry but by 11:00 a.m. the rain starts to pick up again. by 2:00 p.m., heavy rain in the north bay. as we move closer to 3:00 p.m. we have moderate rain bay area wide. it gets a little bit worse in the evening. and by 5:00 p.m. there is the heavy rain near santa rosa. and then by 8:00 p.m. we have heavy rain over the whole area. by 10:00 p.m. it

>>reporter: this is a live picture of a fire that officials say is burning out of control. about 4000 homes have been evacuated. a television station has reported that 10 homes have already burned. a city spokesperson says that the city designed because the situation is too chaotic in hectic. all they have is this wildfire burning out of control in the reno area. >>catherine: any driver that hit into a pedestrian as san francisco has been charged with vehicular manslaughter. prosecutors say she was in a crosswalk.

stand and said she wanted it stopped. as the judge still ruled that the protective order would be put in place. his wife spoke to reporters after that ruling. >> i came to this country to make a family. i love him. i know what domestic violence is. the real violence here is against me, it is pulling my family apart. country does not allow me to work on my marriage and a healthy way. everyone is using my family and myself in a political game. they're trying to control--destroyer bros.
