scene. you can see them behind me, they said the blue tents to gather evidence of the shootout. it happened at this two-story town house on friday afternoon. a short time ago, the santa clara corners office removed the body of suspect tri from this home of the 3400 block of pistachio drive in south san jose. police are not saying what the connection is between lee and the home, but they say that earlier in the day they followed up on the lead and that brought them to this house and it was here that the violent confrontation unfolded resulting in his death. >> he has domestic violence prior in his past, he forced the victim out of the house at gunpoint. he basically did a home invasion and approaching the house we did

--the firefighters have said this had been quite a challenge. >> we had weather come through the town of dropping out a rain really quickly. some are drains were overcome with water. the police department a fire department had to help fill the sandbags. we went to keep the business from going under water. >>reporter: people around here tell me that chris is something that happens quite a bit especially in this market and that area over toward the bay side. that sort of a hazard of live and live--hazard of living here.

>> ysabel: hopefully out there will be enough time between the rain that this will drive down a little bit until tomorrow, we will check at--back with you. >> marty: now this is the window breaking a lamborghini dealership, damage was done by the occupy an interest. the group was martin court and some people broke away from the main group and started shattering windows at store fronts. then they continue to march down the street, dalian shows where the protesters went from there. >>reporter: the occupy protesters marched to the hotel and to get over for about three hours on friday night. the former hotel has been vacant for a few years so protesters said why not turn it into a homeless shelter, things turned

disruptive when the protesters walked into franklin street and blocked traffic. some protesters caught on to the building roof top and some even attacked a sign to the building and that forced officers to move in and clear them out. by 10:00 p.m. friday night police had escorted all the protesters out of the building but apparently, a couple officers did get hurt during friday's ordeal. >> they made attempt to use bottles, bricks and rocks throwing them at the officers, two of our officers were injured, one officer to a brick to the chest. him--another was struck with an object and that may happen broken his hand. >>reporter: police have left just one lone police officer walking over this building to make sure that the protesters do not come back.
