a look at your 7 day around the bay forecast and when you can expect your next chance of rain fall. >>james: telegraph hill in san francisco, we had a rock slide earlier in the week. boulders crashed a car and rolled up next to an apartment building. it was a pretty incredible scene. let's get the latest from the scene with jackie sissel. >>jackie: the plan is, the department of public works hopes to get some equipment in here. the rock side is up this road in and around the corner, on the side of the condominium complex on the lombard street. it is very tight. they have to get specialized equipment and obviously the concern is they do not want to cause any more damage. let's take a look at video from

yesterday with the geologists and engineers survey the site. the good news is they say the hell has stabilized. they did not see any cracking or new threats. they want to get in here with the equipment and take off those smaller rocks so that a larger boulders do not have a place to roll down. once they do that they can put the fencing, the protective netting back up around the condominium complex so that any further slides will not affect a complex. that is the hope right now. the hope is that possibly they could be out as early as 7:00 a.m.. that may or may not happen. that is predicated on the fact that they can get their right equipment, the smaller equipment to do the work that they're asking. the three units that were read tags are now yellow tag. residents cannot sleep in

>>george: there ride on 80 will soon be backed up all the way to highway 4 and possibly into vallejo. three left hand lanes are plot across the boulevard with what is now likely to become a fatal accident. the corner has been summoned to the scene. that is not usually done unless officers are present and certain that there is a fatality. although it is being called a possibly fatal accident with the corner in approve this likely also means that the accident will be out there for a long time because the coroner's investigation does take a fair amount of time. currently drive times are running at about 30 minutes on 80 westbound. for

assaults. >>darya: of the pleasanton school board approved the use of the drug sniffing dogs at its three high school campuses. this will start in february. pleasanton police will be allowed to conduct random searches and school parking lots and locker rooms when students are not there. this policy is started because of a rise in drug-related problems at a high school.

there are three lanes blocked with a fatal accident westbound ad richmond and across the boulevard. traffic is very rapidly backing up to highway 4. with three lanes blocked, the traffic trying to get past the scene of the accident cannot. it is at a standstill. drive times are running up boards of 50 minutes from hercules to berkeley. for alternate routes like 680, 37 and the richmond parkway, will show you that when coming up. >>darya: the president will be headed to iowa on may 5th state 3d tore to sell his economic policy goals.

>>darya: one of the two called lick the cities with an oral outbreak has reopened. of the stability reported 25 cases of gastrointestinal illness. the other center in corte madera is still close to this morning. they had 62 cases of an oral virus that started generate 18th. 70 cases of the illness were reported at a preschool in marin county. that affected about 16 children. that particular preschool remained closed as of yesterday.

past the scene of the crash. this is a live look from yoli aceves. this is a look at the traffic headed westbound. this is a look at traffic approaching the scene. it has practically stopped. you're trying to take four and a half lanes, almost five lanes with the on ramp in convert those down to just to lanes. that has created this backup on interstate 80 westbound. their red means slow speeds westbound. if we set the maps in motion he will see that the backup begins here and and all. one of the best alternates is there richmond parkway. it is already

pretty heavy. a lot of people use that to get to the richmond center fell bridge. this time you hit back of the opposite direction or take 37 over to highway 101 or use 680 tie with 24. the net effect is it is likely to have a positive impact on the bay bridge. as we predicted there would be virtually no backup for the bay bridge because most of the traffic getting to the toll plaza comes from the east shore freeway and it is not there yet. your ride on the san mateo bridge is problem free. no delays. the golden gate bridge ride looks good also. no problems coming from marin county. the south bay freeways so far look good. the only hot spot is the east shore freeway ride for 80 westbound. >>erica: the first thing i noticed when i woke up this morning is that it was not that cold outside. clear conditions overlooking the roof camera in downtown san francisco. the pretty mild
